Silverado Beverly Place, centrally located near Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood, is a specialized memory care community dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with memory impairment. More than just an assisted living facility, Silverado Beverly Place offers three distinct care “neighborhoods,” each tailored to support residents at varying stages of dementia, ensuring a personalized approach as needs evolve. The community provides a wide range of amenities and features specifically designed to meet the challenges faced by those living with dementia. Staff members complete a comprehensive certification program, requiring 40 hours of classroom and hands-on training, emphasizing the community’s commitment to expertise in memory care.
At Silverado Beverly Place, residents benefit from the attention of a physician medical director, a master’s level social worker, and licensed nurses available around the clock, all working together to create an environment that is both safe and nurturing. The community has implemented an internationally recognized, evidence-based brain health program known as Nexus at Silverado. This innovative, non-drug initiative has demonstrated improvements in cognition and function for individuals in the early stages of dementia. Nexus at The Loft, another unique offering, encourages an active, brain-healthy lifestyle and independence for residents at the beginning of their memory care journey.
Silverado Beverly Place is led by Administrator Stephanie Brynjolfson, who brings over 15 years of experience in senior living and five years as a dementia educator. The leadership team also includes Medical Director Dr. Hicham Siouty, whose extensive background in internal medicine and education enriches the clinical oversight at the community. Krystal Milosevic, the Director of Resident and Family Services, holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Social Work and has a strong commitment to supporting families and residents through life’s transitions. Jodi Carr, the Family Ambassador, brings empathy and first-hand experience in navigating Alzheimer’s care within her own family, offering families guidance and understanding throughout their time at Silverado.
The Nexus Program at Beverly Place is overseen by Melissa Goldman, who draws from more than 15 years working in non-profits and fundraising for organizations supporting those with dementia. Michelle Andersen, the Director of Resident Engagement, uses her background in gerontology to design meaningful activities that foster purpose and connection. The culinary program, led by Norman Argamosa, focuses on providing gourmet, nutritious meals that meet the specific needs of those living with dementia, while Carlos Barrera, Director of Plant Operations, and his team maintain an environment that is clean, smooth-running, and welcoming for residents and families.
Music therapy at Silverado Beverly Place is managed by Zach Arakelian, a board-certified and neurologic music therapist whose diverse expertise brings a comprehensive therapeutic approach to residents. Clinical care is further supported by Clinical Staff Manager Jorge Beltran and Assistant Director of Health Services Maria Diaz-Roldan, both dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of resident well-being and safety. Each member of the leadership and care teams brings not only professional skill but also a personal commitment to creating a secure, engaging, and compassionate environment for everyone who calls Silverado Beverly Place home. The community strives to ensure that every resident experiences an enriching and fulfilling daily life in the company of highly trained professionals and a vibrant peer community.
