Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital

Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital has been caring for people in the community since 1957 and stands as a full-service Critical Access Hospital with about 7,000 patients each year, and while it's named in honor of Kauai Veterans, it serves everyone who needs care with 24-hour emergency services staffed by a Board Certified Emergency Physician and a five-bed emergency department, and you'll find that there's a full-time radiologist for CT scans, ultrasounds, mammography, and limb MRI, and then there are a number of medical specialties including ophthalmology, gastroenterology, urology, podiatry, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, internal medicine, and family medicine, with a hospitalist physician team on hand to manage care and work with other doctors and specialists all day and all night.
