    Karens Caregiver Home is a small, licensed residential care home set up as a "caregiver home," which means the staff focus on one-on-one support in a home-like setting, and here there are private apartments you can fill with your own things so it really does feel personal, and the place is designed for folks who need extra help with everyday things like dressing, bathing, eating, moving around, or managing their medicines, and they make sure staff are around all day and night so someone's always checking in if you need them, and there's a full-time licensed nurse plus staff that handle care for people who need more help, even non-ambulatory care and incontinence care, and all the housekeeping, laundry, and meals are taken care of, with meals made fresh daily and options for folks with dietary needs or allergies, plus snacks anytime; and they set up activities for everybody, including arts and crafts, movie nights in their movie room, reading and coloring, group exercise and animal therapy, and even special activities and programs made just for people with memory issues like dementia, especially over in their memory care community called The Cottage, where the staff assist with walking, eating, bathing and pretty much anything needed, and if you just need to stay a few days, respite care is available too, plus the facility offers rehabilitation services with therapies like posture correction and tissue work, and folks can walk in the gardens on nice days or take paths around the property, and rooms all have phones and there's an emergency alert system for safety, and just so you know the place is set up as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), so people might start off with independent living and move into more assisted care if they need it, including skilled nursing and wound care, so you don't have to move to a new place if your health changes, and families often feel at ease knowing staff handle medication, therapies, meals, cleaning, and all the little things that keep folks comfortable and safe, and the staff include licensed nurses and caregivers from CNAs up to RNs, and the place is licensed as a "Home For Individual Residential Care," and the environment stays small so it doesn't feel crowded, and they pay close attention to keeping things peaceful, secure, and feeling like home while handling most tasks so folks have time to enjoy the company, activity programs, and the quiet garden outside.
