New Hope Retirement & Care Center

New Hope Retirement & Care Center, now permanently closed, once provided a range of care options and services to older adults in need of support. The facility offered specialized programs under names unique to the center, including Home Care, Home Health, and Hospice, and served as a Skilled Nursing Facility for people who needed nursing home care or intermediate care. Folks could find several senior living choices, including Adult Care Home, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Facility all in one place. The center also handled short-term rehabilitation for those moving from hospital to home, and had an activity schedule filled with exercise, social events, and group recreation. New Hope had 22 newly renovated studio apartments, all with wheelchair accessibility, individual heating and air conditioning, private pay or Medicaid accepted, and utilities included, so residents didn't have to worry about extra bills. The community had spaces like a library, computer area, chapel that hosted church services, beauty shop, and commons areas to gather. Laundry and housekeeping services were part of daily life, along with medication help, three meals and snacks every day, transportation for appointments or errands, a cable and WIFI setup in rooms, and a 24-hour nurse on-call. Residents could get help from physical, occupational, and speech therapy, plus access to outside services when needed. The place was also VA approved. The care team made personalized plans to meet each person's needs, focused on comfort and well-being, and always offered support whether someone needed just a little help or complete care due to frailty or medical needs.
