    Clean facility, great staff, affordable

I placed my mother here and we're very happy overall. The facility is large, clean (no smells) and being renovated, with grab bars in bathrooms, open communal spaces, two dining rooms and multiple kitchens; residents can bring their own furniture and room sizes vary nicely. Staffing is excellent (about 1 caregiver per 3 residents), activities are lively (weekly karaoke, bingo, outings), the food is good, and the value improved - price came down and is more reasonable than her previous place.

    Summary of reviews

Amazing Grace AFH II presents as a mid‑sized residential facility with several features families commonly seek: a low caregiver-to-resident ratio (approximately 1:3), multiple communal areas, and a range of private-room configurations. Review language emphasizes a generally clean, odor‑free interior and accessible bathroom fixtures (grab bars), which suggests attention to basic safety and cleanliness standards. The facility layout includes open common spaces, two dining rooms, and multiple kitchens, creating some flexibility for dining and social arrangements.

Care and staff impressions are uniformly positive in the summaries provided. The noted staff ratio and descriptors such as “attentive” and “thorough” indicate relatively hands‑on care and responsive interactions. Families specifically mentioned that a resident is happy with the placement, which supports a pattern of satisfactory day‑to‑day caregiving and resident comfort. Management appears responsive on pricing: summaries indicate that rates have become more competitive over time, and reviewers characterized value as strong compared with prior placements.

Dining and activities are strengths highlighted in the summaries. The presence of two dining areas and multiple kitchens supports meal‑service flexibility; food quality was described positively and residents reportedly enjoy meals. Organized social programming — weekly karaoke, bingo, and resident outings — suggests an active calendar intended to promote social engagement and routine. Allowing residents to bring their own furniture and offering varied room sizes support personalization and choice in accommodations.

Facility amenities are a mix of strengths and transitional factors. The interior is described as large and well maintained, but the property appears to have limited outdoor/yard space, which may matter for residents who wish frequent outdoor access. Ongoing renovation work was mentioned; while updating is generally positive for long‑term quality, it can introduce intermittent disruption during the construction period. Overall, the tone of the summaries indicates a facility focused on maintaining clean, comfortable interiors, delivering routine activities, and offering attentive staffing, with the main operational caveats being constrained outdoor space and temporary effects of renovation work.
