Mary's Place Benevilla Adult Day Center

      Cheerful secure facility, excellent staff

I toured this very good, cheerful, cozy facility for my husband and the transition was easy thanks to active programming and arts & crafts he actually enjoys. It's neat and secure (wheelchair entrance with button, buzzer exit), has a clean outdoor patio, in-unit kitchen, washer/dryer and delivered meals, and the staff - especially Tony - are professional, patient and go out of their way; the dementia program has clear treatment plans and improved engagement. They accept VA rates and coordinate transportation, and I'd happily commute for this level of care.

Cleanliness and upkeep are mentioned consistently — reviewers call the facility neat, clean, and the outdoor patio specifically is singled out as clean and secured. Meals and snacks are nutritious and served throughout the day, and there are special programs at Lucy Anne's Place for those in early to mid-stages of dementia, and staff can arrange rides to and from the center for those who need transport. Caregivers at home get some help too, with free support groups, community resources, and breaks during the day, easing the load a little while knowing their loved ones are safe, busy, and well-cared for at Mary's Place. The center works under license #AL2905D as an Adult Day Health Center with 40 spots, keeping things manageable and personal, and it is accredited by CARF International, following standards to give safe, supportive care.
