    Friendly, clean assisted living; recommended

I'm generally pleased with Pleasant Living. The staff and owners were friendly, caring and experienced; the home is clean, organized and beautiful with good-sized rooms and a lovely backyard, and my mom's assisted-care needs are met. Activities were abundant before COVID and are expected to resume soon; food is acceptable - I'd recommend Pleasant Living to others.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews indicate Pleasant Living Assisted Living Homes provides consistent, attentive personal care within a small, well‑kept residential environment. Families and visitors commonly remarked that the caregiving team is experienced and responsive, and that the ownership is supportive and engaged. The facility’s homes are described as clean, organized, and well maintained, with comfortable room sizes and accessible common areas that support social activity and movement.

Care and staff: Care quality is characteristically described as good to very good. Reviewers highlighted respectful, personable interactions and a responsive approach to resident needs. The leadership and owners are noted as supportive, which reviewers link to organized operations and a generally positive staff culture. That said, some comments point to variability in how engaged frontline staff are with residents at certain times; prospective families may want to ask about current staffing patterns and staff‑to‑resident ratios to clarify consistency of daily engagement.

Dining: Dining is described as acceptable, meeting basic expectations without standing out as a major strength. The language used suggests the food is adequate for many residents, though not consistently characterized as exceptional. If dining quality is an important factor, visitors should request recent menus and, if possible, sample meals or speak with current families about typical offerings.

Activities and social life: Prior to infection‑control restrictions, the facility maintained an abundant, varied activities program and accessible social spaces. Multiple reviewers expressed the expectation that group programming will resume; however, the pandemic experience exposed a vulnerability—group activities were paused and appear to be dependent on public‑health conditions and operational decisions. Prospective residents should inquire about the current activity schedule, how programs have been adapted, and contingency plans for maintaining engagement during future restrictions.

Facilities and environment: The homes are repeatedly described as attractive and well cared for, with pleasant outdoor areas and a backyard suitable for walking. Hallways and social spaces are noted as accessible, contributing to a family‑oriented atmosphere. Organization and cleanliness are recurring positives, supporting a comfortable daily environment.

Management and notable patterns: Management and ownership receive favorable comments for being supportive and involved. Reviewers frequently recommend the community, citing caring staff and a welcoming tour experience. The primary operational areas to probe further are consistency of day‑to‑day staff engagement and the quality and continuity of the activity program and dining services. Overall, the pattern across summaries suggests a small, home‑like assisted living option with strong basic care and facility upkeep, alongside some variability in resident engagement and modest dining offerings.
