    Caring staff, clean facility, recommended

I've had my mom at Fairgreen for over two years and I'm very satisfied. The staff genuinely treat residents like family - owners Sue and Bell are hands-on and Belle, Irene, Cybal and Ronel have been especially helpful. The place is clean, meals are delicious, activities are varied and care feels around-the-clock; not flashy but well equipped. Mom is comfortable and I wouldn't move her - highly recommended.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews for Fairgreen Assisted Living present a mixed picture in which several operational strengths coexist with recurring operational weaknesses. Many families and long-term residents emphasize the facility's strongest asset: a caregiving team described as compassionate, attentive, and emotionally supportive. Ownership and on-site management are cited by a number of commenters as actively involved and responsive; some families specifically praised individual managers and the owners for personalized attention. Multiple reviews also highlighted a well-regarded dining program, the availability of on-site religious services, an engaging activities program (including a noted activities director), and generally clean, adequately equipped interiors that provide a family-like atmosphere for residents.

At the same time, there are consistent concerns about clinical and operational reliability. Several reviews point to limited nursing coverage and what reviewers perceived as gaps in clinical supervision; this is tied to reports of staffing shortages and noticeable employee turnover. Those staffing constraints appear linked to other operational issues cited across reviews, including gaps in supervision for residents with cognitive impairment, door-security weaknesses that may permit unsupervised exits, and practices that raise fall-prevention and transfer-safety questions. A related theme is inconsistent assistance for residents who require help at mealtimes or during activities — while food quality is often praised, some families reported that dependent residents did not consistently receive needed feeding assistance or monitoring.

Activity and amenity impressions are mixed: the facility offers a structured and varied activities schedule that some families find very positive, but others described inconsistent execution or insufficient staff support during activities. Cleanliness and facility maintenance were frequently described as satisfactory or very good; however, a subset of comments identified lapses in housekeeping or sanitation standards in specific areas. Communication and management tone present another divide. Several families praised clear, supportive communication from staff and management, while others experienced terse or unhelpful interactions and found administrator responses overly upbeat relative to their concerns.

For prospective residents and families, the pattern suggests strong potential for high-quality, compassionate daily care when staffing and supervision are adequate, but also real operational risks tied to staffing levels and clinical coverage. Recommended inquiry points during a tour or discussion: current on-site nursing arrangements and shift coverage, staff-to-resident ratios at different times of day, fall-prevention and transfer protocols, dementia-wandering safeguards and door-security procedures, approaches to mealtime assistance and weight monitoring, recent staff turnover rates, and examples of how the facility has addressed family-raised concerns. Observing peak and off-peak periods and speaking with both management and direct-care staff can help clarify whether the positive experiences reported in many reviews are likely to be the consistent experience for a particular resident.

    About Fairgreen Assisted Living

Fairgreen Assisted Living sits in a nice area close to churches, shopping centers, a golf course, and a hospital, and the grounds are well landscaped for privacy with gardens and walking paths that residents use to get fresh air or stretch their legs, and you'll find a secure setting because the doors and halls have alarm exit doors, 24/7 security cameras, a monitored fire alarm system, and fire sprinklers all throughout. The community is a licensed 40-bed facility with a total licensed capacity for 109 residents under Florida License #:13647, and you'll see both private and semi-private rooms with emergency call systems in place, plus phone and cable hook-ups for a fee, so folks can keep in touch or enjoy TV in their own space.

Here, residents get help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, walking, eating, transfers, and toileting, and there's always trained staff and nurses on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, supporting medication management and personal care needs, and offering non-ambulatory and transfer assistance when needed. There's an onsite nursing station right at the center for quick response and monitoring, and a full memory care program exists for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's, offering personalized care plans and tailored support for cognitive impairments. Fairgreen Assisted Living also runs an adult day program and onsite respite care for short-term stays, which is useful for both families and caregivers who need a break.

Residents enjoy three meals each day from a state-of-the-art kitchen, overseen by an in-house dietary manager making sure the food is healthy, and snacks and refreshments are available. Regular laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance services help keep the community tidy and comfortable, and the beauty/barber salon gives residents a place for hair care or pampering appointments.

There's an active social calendar run by full-time activity directors, with daily exercise, art classes, trivia, bingo, cards, Wii games, movie nights, birthday celebrations, and musical performances up to three times a week, so no one's likely to get too bored, and outings or field trips are scheduled for those who want to get out and see the area. Devotional services happen onsite, and there's a private dining room for special gatherings, plus common areas like the library and garden for reading, relaxing, or meeting with friends. There is an adult day program and respite program for short-term stays, and Fairgreen Assisted Living's pet policy lets residents keep cats and dogs, which helps some folks feel more at home and less lonely.

For safety, the community has an emergency call system in every room, alarmed doors, a strong fire sprinkler system, and round-the-clock security surveillance. Transportation is arranged for shopping and medical appointments for a fee, and the facility supports independence while making sure help's right there when needed. Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefits and long-term care insurance might cover services here if residents qualify. Fairgreen Assisted Living gets a community score of 7.3 based on Seniorly's rating, showing it offers a range of support, daily activities, and a safe living environment for older adults who need some extra help but still value their independence.
