    Hands-on owner and excellent care

I'm very pleased with this place - the new owner Claudia is hands-on and hardworking, the staff are supportive, and the care is excellent. Renovated accessible bathroom, updated kitchen and rooms, new AC, comfy outdoor seating (with a separate smoking area) and pet provisions make it feel like home; I strongly recommend it.

About Beggs Pointe Assisted Living Facility

Beggs Pointe Assisted Living Facility sits in the 32810 zip code and provides care for up to 16 senior residents, offering assisted living, memory care for those with cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's, and specialized care options for folks with various health conditions. The place has both indoor and outdoor common spaces, wide walking and jogging paths, spacious landscaped gardens, a greenhouse, and a reading area where you'll often find someone quietly enjoying a sunny afternoon. Residents can choose among studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments, or live in communal arrangements depending on what's needed. The facility keeps staff awake and available 24/7 for emergencies or daily help, and there are always people ready to assist with bathing, moving around, medication, and even weight management. On the grounds, there are art rooms, a barber and beauty shop for grooming, a game room, a theater, and parking for those who drive or have visitors. Housekeeping and bathroom cleaning are included, as well as personal care for dressing and grooming, so daily chores don't pile up. Meals come prepared, and the kitchen can take care of special diets like kosher or individualized nutrition for unique health needs, making mealtime less stressful. Beggs Pointe supports community life with on-site and off-site activities, educational and recreational programs, regular devotional services, and engaging social events meant to keep everyone active and involved, whether it's gardening, games, or movie nights. The staff is trained to handle memory care, personal care, and health monitoring, including pharmacy and medication management, so residents feel safe and cared for. There's a 24/7 emergency call system throughout, and the nursing and wellness team checks on each resident's health regularly. Transportation services are offered, too, making errands and appointments easier. While there's a minimum age to join this community, seniors here can count on a friendly atmosphere where people get help when needed but can hold on to their independence, find companionship, and have plenty of options for learning, moving, and relaxing, all in a warm and supportive setting.
