Dynasty Care runs several homes and care centers in Georgia, with the Mary Knight center in Hephzibah and other board and care homes in residential areas, usually holding up to six people at a time and giving around-the-clock help, including meals, medications, bathing, dressing, and help getting around, and some people like that these places have furnished rooms, cable TV, gardens, walking paths, Wi-Fi, and daily activities to keep busy, social, and active, and they'll manage special diets for things like diabetes, allergies, or other needs, and there's move-in help, laundry, and transportation for doctor's appointments or errands, and they'll set up calls to healthcare providers as needed, but some things need to be mentioned, too, because there have been many investigations of violations, such as not keeping good staff training records, not handling residents' medications well, having pest problems, problems with fire safety, and even at times being condemned or shut down by the city after inspectors found big hazards or neglect, and it's been reported that some staff faced serious accusations about neglect, residents missing medication, or wandering off, and there was a case being looked into after a resident died, and some staff even got charged for false statements or using residents' names for phone lines, so while you'll find all the standard personal care services for elderly or disabled adults, with scheduled meals, housekeeping, social events, memory care, and nursing for those who need it most, it's good to know the homes and the Dynasty Care Group have had some history of problems and are watched by state and local inspectors, and you'll need to check on the group's current license status and look over inspection reports before making any choices, because peace of mind is as important as having Wi-Fi and a nice garden path outside.
