    Caring staff improved my mom

I'm very impressed with Sophia-her elder-care background, caring approach, and well-thought-out care plan have made a real difference for my mom. The home is beautiful and spotless with excellent facilities and very polite, friendly staff; my mom's mobility and cognition have noticeably improved. The cost was above our budget but proved to be a blessing-I highly recommend this place.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews of Miracle Touch Personal Care Home emphasize individualized, hands-on caregiving and an attractive residential environment. Several accounts highlight a named caregiver/leader with elder-care experience who develops coherent care plans; families credited that approach with measurable functional gains such as improved mobility and cognitive engagement. Overall, reviewers characterize the staff as polite and caring and express high levels of family satisfaction.

Facility-related strengths include a well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing home and consistent cleanliness. The physical environment and attention to housekeeping appear to support a comfortable setting for residents. Staffing is described as attentive and friendly in the available summaries, with an emphasis on personal attention rather than institutional scale.

Areas to clarify before placement center on fit and cost. A small set of comments indicate that the community is not appropriate for every prospective resident; this suggests a relatively narrow resident profile or a care model optimized for certain needs rather than a broad range of higher-acuity conditions. Price is also described as above some families' budgets, so affordability and contract details should be reviewed closely.

The available reviews provide little direct information about dining quality, menu variety, or structured activity programming, so prospective families should request specifics on meal service, therapeutic diets, daily activities, and social programming. Likewise, ask about staffing ratios, medication-management processes, and how the facility evaluates and accepts residents whose needs change over time. In sum, Miracle Touch appears to offer compassionate, individualized care in a clean, attractive setting; prospective residents should confirm cost, exact scope of clinical services, and program fit during a tour and pre-admission discussions.

About Miracle Touch Personal Care Home

Miracle Touch Personal Care Home sits in a quiet neighborhood in McDonough, GA, and has a peaceful, home-like setting with a large fenced backyard where birds sometimes gather and residents can stretch their legs if they'd like, it's a licensed personal care home with only two licensed beds so it keeps things small and calm, which appeals to folks who don't want a big, bustling center but instead want to live in a residential house with caregivers who have time to get to know everyone. The staff provides care at all hours, and there's a licensed nurse watching over things, so help's always there if someone needs it, whether that's getting dressed, taking medicine, or just needing reminders about the day's activities. There's assisted living and memory care, which includes a safe area for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, and they even give residents a special bracelet that sends an alert if someone tries to leave so families can rest a little easier about wandering.

Residents get three simple home-cooked meals each day in the dining room, with healthy food that doesn't feel too fancy but fills you up, and there are group activities-sometimes games, other times quiet crafts or trips out for shopping and eating. Miracle Touch does a bit more than regular personal care, because they offer home health care with Medicare-certified services, skilled nursing for those needing more help long-term, and hospice care when a person's time is near, and they've also got visiting health workers like doctors on call, physical therapists, and nurses coming to help as needed. The place helps folks with high medical needs too, like diabetes care, lifting or transferring, or help with incontinence, and staff can help with injections and manage tricky health issues like behavior outbursts or wandering.

Care's very hands-on and personal since the home is small, and the rooms are semi-private, with some nice touches like private baths, full tubs, and tidy common areas for everyone to use. Residents can get rides to appointments, help with laundry every week, and gentle reminders when it's time for grooming or using the restroom. The memory care building uses alarms and a computerized system so staff knows if someone wanders, and everything's locked and secure where it needs to be. The price is about $3,250 a month for a memory care room that's shared, and services include respite if someone needs a break, plus adult day care for folks who don't stay overnight. They aim to support people at every stage, so someone can stay even if their needs get higher, with staff qualified to handle both physical and mental changes. People who want something quieter or who need a lot of help find Miracle Touch offers steady care, regular meals, activities to keep busy, and a safe spot for the days to pass.
