    About Desano Place Suites

Desano Place Suites is a locally owned, medium-sized assisted living community with 16 beds about 18 miles outside Jerome, Idaho, and is designed for older adults who want a supportive community while still keeping as much independence as possible, and the staff there focuses on helping with daily things like bathing, dressing, and medication, and they've got 24-hour supervision and a call system for help any time of day or night, so there's always someone around if something comes up, and for those with Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, they provide memory care with custom plans and activities to keep folks' brains active while keeping them safe in a protected community. The rooms are all studio layouts-larger, private apartments-which give residents plenty of comfort, and since they've got both assisted living and Board and Care Home services, those who need more ongoing help can find support there as well, and since the staff are specially trained for behavior management, they're ready to help with a range of needs that memory care brings. Meals are prepared by chefs and meal planners, and there are special choices for allergies or diabetes. Everyone gets access to furnished rooms, a garden space, a barber or salon, and plenty of common areas for socializing or relaxing, plus a community room with a phone, an arts space, and an emergency alert system which gives an added sense of safety. Residents can join in community-sponsored activities, movie nights, devotional gatherings, and offsite outings too, so there's always something to do for both mind and body, and they organize things like exercise, games, and crafts to keep everyone active as they can comfortably be. Pets are welcome, and with wheelchair accessibility, help with transfers, and services like laundry, housecleaning, dry cleaning, and transportation, it's meant to make daily life easier. Healthcare coordination, diabetic care, and incontinence care are available, and non-ambulatory residents get the care they need, with staff focused on the well-being of each person. The management team is accessible and seems to make a point of being present for both families and residents. Move-in coordination helps folks adjust when they first arrive, and the overall environment tries to balance a sense of community, privacy, and personal care so folks feel supported no matter their needs.
