    Gorgeous building, caring attentive staff

My parent lives here and I'm very pleased. The building is gorgeous and clean, rooms are large, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely caring - playful and encouraging with residents. Meals and dining are good, activities (bingo, Wii bowling, church, outings) are engaging, and visitation is flexible with a convenient location for visits. The director is approachable and the team feels dedicated; overall a warm, supportive place that provides very good care.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a mixed but informative picture. The facility's physical environment is frequently described as attractive, new, and well maintained, with spacious, clean rooms and a convenient location for family visits. Many families and residents express overall satisfaction with the atmosphere and resident morale. Visitation is generally flexible, and staff mask use and vaccination status were noted in the context of infection-control practices.

Care quality assessments are mixed. Numerous accounts praise caring, patient, and engaged staff—particularly those with memory-care experience—highlighting compassionate interactions, encouragement for participation, and an approachable director. At the same time, uneven experiences suggest inconsistent responsiveness and variability in day-to-day care. Understaffing, perceived low pay, and high turnover are recurring operational themes that reviewers link to service interruptions or uneven attention to residents.

Dining and activities show a similarly mixed pattern. Several families appreciate the activity offerings (bingo, Wii bowling, church services, outings) and social programming; however, a lack of a visible, easily accessible activity schedule limits families' ability to plan or confirm participation. Meal service is available on-site and satisfactory to some, while others describe inconsistent or unimpressive food quality. Operational details such as occasional supply shortfalls (toiletries) and concerns about value for the monthly rate were also raised.

Management and administration are described in both positive and negative terms. Leadership is characterized as approachable by multiple families, and staff engagement is often cited as a strength. Conversely, billing and administrative process issues have been noted, and resource constraints appear to affect staffing levels and service consistency. Infection-control practice enforcement is uneven in certain areas (for example, staff masking practices contrasted with resident masking behaviors), which may warrant clarification during a visit.

Notable patterns for prospective residents and families: the facility offers strong environmental and social-program strengths and a number of attentive caregivers, particularly in memory-care contexts. However, operational weaknesses—most prominently staffing stability, administrative/billing reliability, activity-schedule transparency, and occasional supply-management lapses—could affect the lived experience. Families considering this community should ask specific questions about staffing ratios and turnover, sample menus and dining policies, how activity schedules are communicated, supply procedures, billing processes, and current infection-control policies to assess fit and expectations.
