    Caring rehab with personalized therapy

I placed my loved one here for rehab and a short respite stay and was very pleased. Management is hands-on and responsive, staff are caring and compassionate, and the therapy team (PT/OT/ST) is excellent with private rehab rooms and tailored plans; social work/discharge planning and post-discharge meals smoothed the transition. The place feels safe and home-like, with active socialization, family involvement, and staff who know residents by name - I would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews present a mixed but informative picture. Many families and residents praise the facility's rehabilitative services and several clinical strengths: focused, personalized therapy (PT/OT/ST), private rehab rooms with phones, attentive nursing when leadership is present, and staff who facilitate social engagement and discharge planning. Multiple accounts highlight compassionate interactions, responsive case-management (including hospice guidance), post-discharge transition help, and an active activities program that contributes to resident engagement and morale.

At the same time, reviewers describe operational weaknesses that recur across accounts. Staffing levels and turnover are cited as a principal driver of variability in daily care: when management and experienced staff are on-site care quality is described positively, but staffing gaps โ€” especially on weekends and overnight shifts โ€” are associated with slower response times and inconsistent assistance. Several reviews reflect concerns about staff conduct and communication tone, with reports of rudeness or brusque interactions arising alongside many examples of caring behavior. Medication-administration lapses and missed medications are raised as clinical-safety issues in some accounts.

Facility operations and environment also show mixed feedback. Praise for therapy spaces and engaged environmental-services employees is counterbalanced by sanitation and laundry-management deficiencies, including missing or mishandled clothing and localized cleanliness concerns. There are specific operational gaps noted around incontinence-care response times and the availability of appropriate bariatric equipment or transfer resources. A small number of reviews describe security and property-protection concerns that prospective families should consider.

Management receives both commendation and criticism: several reviewers describe visible, responsive leadership and direct follow-up from administrators and assistant directors, while others describe inconsistent oversight with care that deteriorates when management is not present. The result is a polarized pattern โ€” strong rehabilitation outcomes and individual examples of exceptional, attentive care coexist with episodic quality-control and staffing problems that affect some residents' experiences.

For prospective residents and families: verify current staffing ratios (including weekend/overnight coverage), review medication-administration and incident-notification protocols, confirm laundry and personal-item handling procedures, and ask about bariatric equipment and transfer training if applicable. An in-person visit during different shifts can help assess day-to-day consistency in staff conduct, dining service, and facility sanitation. Overall, the facility delivers notable strengths in therapy, social programs, and compassionate leadership at times, but operational variability and staffing-related gaps merit careful evaluation before placement.
