    About Willow - CLOSED

Willow - CLOSED used to be a senior living facility offering several care options all under one roof, so you could find independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and board and care homes, and there were small home-like board and care options in regular neighborhoods for a few residents, along with larger buildings for more people. Older adults could stay there as their needs changed, starting in a maintenance-free, independent living apartment with resort-style amenities, and then, if health declined, they could move into areas with more care like assisted living or skilled nursing, all without leaving the community. Assisted living at Willow offered help with daily activities, medication management, meals, and personal care, and there were memory care units for people with dementia or Alzheimer's, which had 24-hour supervision, special programs, and memory-enhancing activities to keep people safe and engaged. Skilled nursing and rehab rooms helped those who needed medical care after a surgery or illness, offering wound care and round-the-clock nursing. For wellness, Willow had physical therapy, IV therapy, chiropractic care, IV vitamin treatments, bioidentical hormone therapy, cold and heat therapy, and other options for health and recovery, and there were wellness programs and some non-invasive therapies, plus both semi-private and private suites. The dining areas and shared spaces were set up for comfort. Willow also had links to financial directories, like the Rand McNally Bankers Directory from 1937, and services related to banking and trust companies, which meant you could find listings of bank directors by state, city, or bank, though that information was more for reference than part of daily living. All these features supported seniors with many different needs, from those looking to live independently with a full schedule of activities, to those needing daily care and medical support, but now the facility is closed and doesn't accept new residents.
