    About Auburn Courts

Auburn Courts, also called Auburn Courts and Courtyard, is a non-profit, church-related senior living community in Chaska, Minnesota, and folks can schedule tours to see the place, meet staff and residents, and get a sense of things firsthand, and the community offers several levels of care, including assisted living, independent living, memory care, nursing care, skilled nursing, home care, respite care, continuing care, and 55+ options, so there's a wide range of help available depending on what someone needs at different times of life, and they have a focus on people who want to live as independently as possible but still get support from skilled staff when it's needed. The campus has apartment-style living with studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, and units have kitchenettes, walk-in showers, personal emergency call systems, and furnishings to keep things comfortable, and there's free basic cable and Wi-Fi, plus utilities are included except for phone, and the apartments are wheelchair accessible and allow small pets with a pet deposit. The nursing staff includes registered nurses on site Monday through Friday and an on-call nurse overnight and weekends, and there are care attendants on site around the clock, doing daily reassurance checks and medication management, and helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and more if a person needs it, so folks can feel safe knowing someone's always there to help. The memory care, called Auburn Courtyard, provides private suites and a higher level of moderate memory care in a secured part of the building, and they have respite care, wound care, hospice care, rehabilitation therapy with physical, occupational, and speech programs, and even psychiatric care available 24 hours a day for those who need that type of help.

Meals are served in neighborhood-style dining rooms, and guest meals are available for family or friends, and dietary services include menus for special needs like diabetes or allergies, so people who need to watch what they eat are accommodated, and cleaning, laundry, garbage collection, move-in coordination, and maintenance are all taken care of for residents, while both self-serve and in-building laundry are options. There's a lot to do, since Auburn Courts has an activities director on staff who plans daily social programs, games, hobbies, movie nights, religious services, and field trips into the community or outings to fun or interesting places, and there's an arts room, a garden, and various entertainment spaces inside and out, plus common areas like a media center, barbershop, beauty salon, and fitness center, and they run wellness and fitness programs as well. Transportation is available with scheduled van rides, and parking is on site for people with cars, so it's easy to get places when necessary, and friends and family can visit and take part in activities. Auburn Courts accepts private pay, long-term care insurance, and Minnesota Elderly Waiver payment; services and prices depend on the level of care each person needs, and there's a one-time fee and pet deposit for the apartments. The facility is certified for Medicare and Medicaid. Security is important, so there's 24-hour supervision, an emergency call system, and special accommodations for those with limited mobility or for people who can't walk, and Auburn Courts helps coordinate care with outside healthcare providers when necessary. There's also a chapel and a focus on spiritual support for those interested, and everything's part of a broader mission inspired by Christ's love. Auburn Courts tries to create a calm and home-like environment where seniors can join social activities or enjoy quiet time in their own space, and the place provides community, support, and care for people with changing needs.
