    Spotless, fresh-smelling, very well-maintained facility

I toured the facility and was very impressed - spotless everywhere, fresh scent with no resident odor, and even the walls looked freshly washed. The building is well-maintained and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall one of the best, very clean places I've seen and I would recommend it.

    About Lexington Manor Senior Care

Lexington Manor Senior Care sits near Holmes County Hospital in Lexington, Mississippi, and you'll see right away that it feels homey, comfortable, and well-kept, with private and semi-private furnished rooms that have cable TV, wide hallways for walking, and common areas for relaxing or visiting, and if you use a wheelchair or have other needs, the building's set up for easy movement and medical equipment. The staff have a real focus on helping older folks every day-they assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and getting to meals or activities, and they watch over residents with 24-hour nursing supervision, which is important for anyone who has health issues, memory problems, or trouble getting around.

You'll find medical alert systems such as Bay Alarm Medical, ADT, and Medical Guardian, medication dispensers, and security for peace of mind, and there are also senior cell phones, hearing aids, and internet services meant for older people who want to stay connected and safe, which can make daily life a lot easier. The facility provides a bunch of care options, such as assisted living, memory care, companion care, and skilled nursing for people who need short or long-term help, and families notice the gentle, professional way staff handle things like wound care, incontinence, IVs, diabetes, or tube feeding. There's also a wide range of rehabilitation services, with dedicated staff helping folks recover through physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy, and there are care programs like palliative and hospice care, as needs change.

Dining here means residents get regular meals and snacks each day with a focus on nutrition, and the kitchen staff plan meals and holiday feasts, plus people enjoy special events, barbecue days, and parties for birthdays. People have chances to take part in all kinds of activities-games, crafts, educational groups, fitness classes, social gatherings, music, devotional activities, and holiday celebrations are on the calendar. There's housing for many different needs, so there are independent living senior apartments, condos, and townhomes if people want less daily help, or care options for folks who need more support.

The 60-bed campus is known for its kind, caring staff, and you'll find that families and residents mention how welcoming and patient everyone seems to be, with plenty of cheerful greetings and help offered quickly when somebody needs it. The staff and therapists make sure care plans match what each person needs, and many people build strong relationships with the caregivers here, which seems to matter even more than the awards for Best of Senior Living, Best Activities, or Most Friendly staff. Lexington Manor Senior Care calls itself an elder-centered community, and the team tries hard to make life a little better each day, whether that's through care, conversation, or a fun activity, and the facility makes sure to keep things clean and adapt to what each resident requires as time goes on. The community has a Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity policy, so everyone gets the same chance for support and care, and overall, it's a steady place for older folks in the Lexington area who want safety, help, and some good company.
