    Calm clean caring engaging reassuring

I'm very pleased with the calm, clean, and secure atmosphere - staff are caring and professional, nurses and CNAs are excellent, therapy is top-notch, activities are engaging, and the hot meals are tasty. I do hesitate at the thought of needing nursing care soon, but their dementia-friendly approach gives me confidence.

    About Perry County Nursing Center

Perry County Nursing Center sits in Richton, Mississippi, at 206 Bay Avenue, serving as a nursing home and rehab center that admits adults who need skilled nursing care and help with daily life. The staff includes registered nurses, LPNs, CNAs, therapists, and medical directors who give care to every resident. The center has a range of services that cover skilled nursing, short-term stay rehab, long-term care, wound care, medication management, and memory care for people with dementia or memory problems, and there's a specialized program focused on stroke recovery as well. Residents can also get IV antibiotic therapy, speech therapy, pain management, recreational therapy, and palliative care, plus hospice services when they're needed. Perry County Nursing Center works with Medicare and Medicaid and is run as a for-profit corporation, offering comprehensive help for those who want to recover and go home or need to stay long-term. The activities program gives people something to do each day, and the amenity section lists what's available for comfort and support. There's a big focus on keeping everyone safe with enhanced barrier precautions, and the team takes care to make individual care plans for each person. Families can use the map feature to find the location, and the center admits residents through a clear admissions process. The facility also has a current activity calendar and offers guidance for both rehab planning and returning home, though some details on assisted living services are not yet available and most caregiving areas remain restricted from public viewing.
