    Highly satisfied with homebuying experience

I'm very pleased with my Del Webb Lake Las Vegas experience - Aimee and the sales team were knowledgeable, kind and went above and beyond, construction managers (Marc/Mark/Alex) kept me updated with timely texts and photos, and Ryan in Customer Care handled post-close warranty items promptly. The home's quality, the community amenities, and the views are beautiful, and the whole process felt seamless and well-communicated. Overall highly satisfied and would recommend; a few small refinements would make it exceptional.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment: The reviews for Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas are overwhelmingly positive in many key areas but show meaningful variability in customer-facing administration and pricing concerns. A large portion of reviewers describe an excellent new-home experience: strong construction management, frequent communication during the build, high-quality craftsmanship, on-time closings, responsive warranty and customer care, and resort-style community amenities. Many buyers explicitly praise named team members for going above and beyond, conveying strong satisfaction and willingness to recommend the community to family and friends. At the same time, isolated but significant negative reports—particularly about reception and sales interactions, scheduling mismanagement, and advertising/pricing—create a mixed picture that prospective buyers should weigh.

Staff and sales experience: Reviews consistently highlight exemplary sales associates and construction managers. Several salespeople and customer-care staff are mentioned by name and receive high praise for professionalism, communication, patience, and problem-solving. Multiple reviewers emphasize a no-pressure sales approach, transparency around upgrades, and helpful mortgage/design guidance. Conversely, there are repeated complaints about frontline staff such as gatekeepers and receptionists being rude or dismissive. A few reviewers reported feeling unwelcome during initial visits, brochures withheld until after agent meetings, or outright discriminatory behavior. The pattern suggests that while many staff deliver excellent, personalized service, the customer-facing administrative experience can be inconsistent and occasionally damaging to first impressions.

Construction, communication and move-in/warranty support: One of the strongest, most consistent themes is the construction process. Buyers report regular weekly or even daily updates with photos and texts from construction managers (several named), detailed final inspections, and complete knowledge transfers at closing. Many describe on-time builds, timely escrow closing, and minor post-move repairs handled promptly. Customer care managers and warranty teams receive praise for being responsive and attentive. That said, some administrative missteps are reported—double-booked in-person appointments, internet/administrative department scheduling delays, and errors like incorrect names on follow-up letters—that point to weaknesses in back-office attention to detail.

Facilities, community and location: The development is widely admired for its resort-like amenities, immaculate clubhouse, well-maintained common grounds, attractive model homes, and outstanding views of the lake and mountains. Reviewers appreciate the thought put into the master plan and community layout, calling the neighborhood quiet, tranquil and welcoming. The location is generally seen as desirable—close enough to downtown Las Vegas while offering a quieter, resort-style environment—but a few reviewers note it can feel remote or “far from everything,” which matters for people who want proximity to certain services or city life. Opinions differ on how senior-friendly the homes are; while many see the neighborhood as ideal for active adults, some feel the houses themselves are not sufficiently senior-adapted.

Price, advertising and value concerns: Multiple reviewers call out a significant price premium (25–30% noted by some) for lots and homes and raise concerns about perceived price inflation or unethical advertising. While many buyers feel the product and service justify the cost, others view the pricing as excessive or feel misled by advertising. Prospective buyers should be aware of the premium pricing and confirm all upgrade and lot costs upfront. Several positive reviews stress transparent upgrade discussions during the sales process, so experiences on pricing clarity vary by sales agent and transaction.

Patterns and recommendations: The dominant pattern is a highly positive building and move-in experience when working with the responsive construction managers and attentive sales agents—these roles are repeatedly credited with creating a “dream home” experience. Problems are less about build quality and more about administrative and receptionist-level interactions, scheduling mistakes, and occasional attention-to-detail lapses. There are also isolated but serious reports of discriminatory behavior which deserve attention from management.

If you’re considering Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas: expect strong construction management, frequent progress communications, high build quality, excellent amenities, and many dedicated, professional staff members who will help you through contract, build and warranty. At the same time, be prepared to verify administrative details (appointments, names on paperwork), confirm all pricing and upgrade disclosures in writing, and be mindful that first impressions can vary depending on which staff you encounter. Meeting the specific sales and construction team members who receive consistently high marks may improve the overall experience. Overall recommendation is cautiously positive: excellent product and majority positive service experiences, tempered by notable administrative and pricing concerns that prospective buyers should investigate before committing.
