    Professional caring staff; spotless facility

I'm very pleased with the care my family member receives here. The nurses and aides are professional, caring and attentive, explain everything clearly, and give warm, respectful interactions. The facility and rooms are spotless and home-like, with large units, extensive meal choices, plenty of activities and outside entertainment, plus access to pool/gym and an on-site daycare that brings joyful visits. Admissions was responsive and knowledgeable - I have real peace of mind knowing Parker/Stonegate standards are upheld.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Parker at Stonegate is presented as a clean, comfortable assisted‑living community with consistently positive commentary about staff conduct and the physical environment. Reviewers commonly highlight professional, caring nursing and aide teams who are described as attentive, respectful, and communicative. Admissions and touring interactions are characterized as knowledgeable and responsive, which contributes to initial family confidence and perceived peace of mind.

Care quality and staff: The dominant theme across feedback is competence and compassion among clinical and caregiving staff. Families and residents note clear explanations of care, affectionate and patient interactions, and adequate staffing levels that allow time for conversation and personal attention. End‑of‑life care and family communication are described positively in at least one account, and several reviewers explicitly cited relief and reassurance from the level of care provided.

Dining and services: Dining receives favorable comments, with reviewers noting extensive menus and many meal choices. Clinical supports such as medication administration, assistance with showers, and feeding help are available and mentioned as strengths. The facility’s operational responsiveness and orientation toward resident comfort (including room security and ongoing remodeling) are additional service positives.

Activities and social programming: Feedback on activities is mixed. Some reviewers report plentiful programming and outside entertainment, while others describe limited options (primarily movie time and bingo) and excessive sedentary periods. This suggests variability in social engagement depending on unit, timing, or individual expectations. The presence of an on‑site daycare and opportunities to interact with children are unique features that some residents and families value for intergenerational engagement.

Facilities and location: Physical facilities receive strong marks: large rooms or studios, a home‑like atmosphere, and easy access to adjacent amenities such as a pool, gym, and park. The building is described as freshly remodeled in areas and consistently clean. Conversely, location is noted as distant for some families, which may affect visitation. There are also isolated concerns about maintenance and safety oversight (for example, loose carpet runners) that point to room for improvement in hazard remediation processes.

Management, cost, and scope of care: Admissions and management interactions are generally described as professional and helpful. Cost perceptions vary—some reviewers find the community competitive or less expensive than alternatives, while others describe affordability as a barrier. Operationally, the community appears focused on assisted living; reviewers indicate limited on‑site options for higher levels of care, which may require families to consider future care needs elsewhere.

Notable patterns and decision points: Strengths are concentrated in staff conduct, cleanliness, dining variety, and physical amenities. Key decision factors for prospective residents and families are likely to be the adequacy of social programming for the resident’s needs, the facility’s distance from family, cost expectations, and whether the assisted‑living level aligns with anticipated future care requirements. Prospective families may also want to ask management about activity schedules, maintenance and safety inspection routines, and how the community handles transitions if higher levels of care become necessary.
