    Summary of reviews

Reviewers describe a facility with clear strengths in clinical rehabilitation and individual caregiving but notable operational inconsistencies. The therapy team receives strong, repeated praise: physical and occupational therapists are characterized as attentive, effective, and a key reason families chose the center. Several reviewers also highlighted proactive social work and discharge-planning support, including thorough medication reconciliation at discharge and help with post-discharge equipment and PCP follow-up. Individual clinicians — nurses and CNAs in particular — were frequently described as compassionate and professional.

At the same time, there are recurring operational concerns that prospective residents and families should weigh. Cleanliness and sanitation practices were described as inconsistent: some common areas and rooms were noted as clean, while other accounts indicated missed cleaning tasks and bathroom sanitation issues. Staffing variability was a common theme, with reports of delayed responses to call buttons, long periods without checks, and missed or shortened therapy sessions; these issues are reflected in concerns about monitoring and post-discharge safety. Several reviews described problems with admission logistics and room readiness (bed not made, wrong room placement), indicating uneven front-line coordination.

Dining and housekeeping patterns are mixed. Multiple reviewers found meal portions and quality inadequate or unappealing, while others did not raise concerns. Housekeeping was described as inconsistent; combined with mentions of an aging interior and dated furnishings, this contributes to an impression that some capital-maintenance needs exist. Activities and structured rehab programming were generally viewed positively, with families noting a lively atmosphere and engaging offerings for residents.

Communication and management practices show a contrast: some families experienced quick, helpful responses from management when they raised issues, whereas others reported poor follow-up, unreturned calls or emails, transport failures for appointments, and billing confusion. A small number of reviews contained serious allegations regarding staff conduct and potential financial misconduct; these are significant and merit direct inquiry with the facility and, if appropriate, regulatory bodies.

In short, the center appears to offer strong therapeutic care and several compassionate staff members, which are important strengths for short-term rehabilitation. However, persistent operational weaknesses — inconsistent cleanliness, variable staffing and monitoring, communication breakdowns, and administrative/billing issues — create uneven experiences. Families considering this facility should inspect the environment in person, ask for specifics about staffing ratios and cleaning protocols, clarify medication- and billing-processes, and obtain a clear discharge and follow-up plan before admission.
