    Money-focused care bedbugs neglected residents

Staff were okay, but my experience was disappointing. Care felt poor and money-focused - staff seemed more concerned with getting paid than with patients; meals were tiny and often didn't follow dietary restrictions. Cleanliness was lacking (I found signs of bedbugs), there were payment/state-violation issues, and residents seemed neglected. I can't recommend this place until leadership fixes these problems.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews describe a facility with persistent operational concerns spanning clinical care, environmental maintenance, dining, and administration. While some commentary indicates staff presence during shifts, there is a pattern of concerns about the quality and reliability of care: reviewers describe inconsistent clinical attention, delays in attending to resident needs, and general dissatisfaction with day-to-day caregiving practices.

Environmental and facility issues are prominent. Multiple comments point to inadequate cleaning and sanitation practices and explicit pest-control concerns. These accounts suggest problems with routine housekeeping and facility maintenance that affect both resident rooms and common areas. Reviewers also raised odor and cleanliness issues, which combine to create questions about the facility’s environmental-management protocols.

Dining and nutrition are another consistent area of concern. Meals are described as undersized and of inconsistent quality, and reviewers report failures to meet dietary restrictions or tailor meals to residents’ needs. Together these items indicate gaps in menu planning, portioning, and nutrition-accommodation processes that are important for residents with specific medical or dietary requirements.

Staffing and conduct issues appear in multiple areas: reviewers describe behavior and practices that they interpret as prioritizing payment collection over resident welfare, and there are broader concerns about responsiveness and the tone of staff–family interactions. Financial administration problems are also reported, including billing and payment-administration irregularities; more serious claims include allegations of theft and financial misconduct. At the facility level, these items suggest weaknesses in personnel supervision, financial controls, and resident-facing communication protocols.

Regulatory and management patterns are notable. Several comments reference state-level violations and general noncompliance, which points to systemic gaps in regulatory adherence and quality oversight. Management is characterized as revenue-focused by reviewers, which they link to care and maintenance shortfalls. Activities programming is not described in detail in these reviews, which may indicate it is limited or not a salient feature for families who posted feedback.

Overall, the pattern across the reviews indicates deficiencies in sanitation and pest control, weaknesses in nutrition and meal management, inconsistent clinical responsiveness, and significant concerns about financial practices and regulatory compliance. Prospective residents and families should review current inspection and enforcement records, ask detailed questions about housekeeping and pest-control protocols, nutrition/dietary policies, staffing levels and training, and financial safeguards before making placement decisions.
