    Clean compassionate short term rehab

I placed my grandmother here for short-term rehab and was very pleased. The campus is clean and welcoming, admissions was smooth, and Carol plus the nurses, therapists and hands-on management were compassionate and professional. Meals, activities and friendly residents made it feel like family, and therapy supported a safe return home - I'd recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews of Ayden Healthcare of Greenville present a mixed picture characterized by several distinct strengths alongside recurring operational concerns. Many families and short-term rehab residents describe compassionate, engaged nursing and therapy staff who facilitate effective rehabilitation and support safe returns home. The facility is frequently praised for a warm, community-oriented atmosphere, active social programming (including holiday events and family participation), and a hands-on management approach that can make admissions and transitions smoother. There are also multiple positive notes about hospice services, 24-hour oversight, and timely in-room medication delivery in some instances.

At the same time, a substantial portion of feedback highlights systemic inconsistencies. Staffing levels and responsiveness are uneven; reviewers describe long waits for call lights and an impression that staff are overextended. Several comments point to delays in executing physician orders and coordinating transport, and to medication supply or pharmacy-management problems that have affected timely medication availability. Communication and staff conduct are another area of variability: while some families find management approachable and staff respectful, others report concerns about tone, communication restrictions, and family concerns not being addressed.

Facility environment and operations show mixed signals as well. Many accounts note clean, well-decorated common areas and an inviting campus, yet others raise sanitation and odor concerns in particular units, stained carpeting, and isolated pest-control issues. Dining receives both praise and criticism, which suggests inconsistency in meal quality or service. Clinical practices also vary by shift and department according to reviewers, with specific concerns about bathing and basic personal-care routines in some cases and positive examples of attentive pain management and rehab support in others.

Taken together, the pattern indicates a facility that can deliver strong, person-centered care—especially for short-term rehab and hospice—when staffing and coordination function well, but which may struggle with operational consistency across shifts and departments. Prospective residents and families should weigh the positive elements (therapy capabilities, active programming, approachable management when present) against the operational weaknesses (staffing responsiveness, medication and order fulfillment, sanitation consistency, communication practices). Visiting in person, meeting the therapy and nursing leads, reviewing recent inspection or complaint history, and asking about staffing ratios, pharmacy arrangements, pest-control protocols, and call-light response metrics would help clarify whether the facility’s current operational state aligns with a family’s expectations and care needs.

    About Ayden Healthcare of Greenville

Ayden Healthcare of Greenville is a skilled nursing facility with 92 certified beds, owned by Ayden Healthcare, and has been under the management team with Adam Cusner, Jeffrey Degyansky, Eliezer Goldish, Solomon Kazarnovsky, and Abba Stein since 2019, and you'll see this place offers both short-term rehab for those who need therapy after a hospital stay and long-term nursing care for folks who need more constant help, and like you'd expect, they do have staff on duty all day and night for emergencies, a variety of therapy services for stroke recovery, wound care, complex medical needs, post orthopedic surgery rehab, and cardiac care, as well as physician and social service support, and you can see they try to keep things feeling homey with comfortable rooms and spaces for people to socialize, though they also try to get folks involved in the community. The facility is part of the ProMedica family, and is tied to services for memory care, home health, and hospice across Ohio and in 26 states, which means a wide reach, and while they say they focus on independence, wellness, and making things comfortable for residents, there have been some problems found in inspections-like an environmental problem with pest control, and a couple of infection-related deficiencies, as well as a total of 22 deficiencies over the years, with reports of issues in administration like not using resources as effectively as needed or hiring properly licensed staff. Nurse turnover is higher here-about 58.2% compared to a state average of 51.0%-and nurse staffing runs a bit low at 3.13 hours per resident per day, below the Ohio average. So while there's dedicated nurses and therapy specialists and staff available to help with day-to-day needs and keep residents' health in mind, it's good for families to know about both the services offered and the inspection findings when considering Ayden Healthcare of Greenville.
