    Compassionate attentive memory care community

I'm very pleased with this small, modern memory-care community - clean, cozy rooms, open layout and a lovely screened porch and courtyard. The staff are knowledgeable about dementia, genuinely caring, and go above and beyond; nurses and caregivers have made my loved one feel safe, engaged and at home with lots of activities and social connection. Management is responsive and hands-on, and the admission process was smooth. I would recommend this facility for anyone needing compassionate, individualized memory care.

    Summary of reviews

Liberty Place Memory Care presents as a small, dementia-focused memory care community with repeated praise for compassionate, well-trained staff and a home-like atmosphere. Reviewers consistently highlight individualized attention, teamwork among nurses and aides, and a strong focus on dementia-specific approaches that give many families a sense of partnership in care. Common physical strengths include clean apartments and common areas, an open layout with screened porches and courtyards, and accessible in-house therapy services.

Care quality is generally described as attentive and person-centered: nurses and caregivers are frequently credited with calming anxious residents, going above and beyond, and maintaining respectful resident–staff relationships. Families note proactive communication when it is strong, hands-on involvement from leadership, and staff longevity in several cases. At the same time, a number of families have expressed concerns about specific clinical-response gaps—particularly around incontinence care and the facility's handling of clinical incidents—which suggests the need for clarified clinical protocols and improved incident communication with families.

Dining and activities are notable strengths for many residents. Several reviews cite engaging programming (baking, crafts, music, outings, and social events), active efforts to keep residents involved, and supportive kitchen staff preparing enjoyable meals. However, there is variability in meal satisfaction across accounts; some families say dining is excellent while others note room for improvement. The activity program is robust in social and sensory offerings but may not fully meet the needs of higher-functioning residents who require more cognitively demanding engagement.

The facility and grounds receive frequent praise for cleanliness, modern design, and comfortable common spaces; reviewers often describe a warm, cozy environment that feels like home. Practical maintenance and exterior upkeep are generally satisfactory, though a few comments point to inconsistencies in grounds or water-feature maintenance that prospective families may wish to inspect in person.

Management and operations show a mixed pattern. Positive comments include responsive front-desk staff and dedicated administrators who are visible and engaged. Conversely, several families linked declines in service continuity and morale to ownership and staffing changes, noting delays in administrative tasks (billing, refunds, move-in logistics, phone/TV installations) and uneven responsiveness at times. These operational issues — plus the clinical and incontinence-care concerns mentioned earlier — suggest families should ask about current staffing stability, clinical protocols for infection prevention and incontinence care, and the facility’s process for communicating and resolving incidents.

Overall, Liberty Place appears to be a strong option for individuals needing specialized memory care who will benefit from a small, relationship-driven community and staff with dementia expertise. Prospective residents and families should validate current management stability, request written clinical and staffing policies, review recent staffing turnover, and clarify billing/refund procedures during their tour to ensure the present operations align with their expectations.

The community only takes in adults with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other memory challenges, providing a safe and comfortable setting that helps prevent wandering and confusion, and it's got security cameras and private studio rooms designed with this special care in mind and the staff goes through detailed dementia care training to work well with each resident's needs. The Pathways of Purpose program is part of life here, helping residents keep their independence and dignity while encouraging healthy activities, social connections, and daily routines, and folks can bring their pets with them, too, which is something some people look for and appreciate.
