    Spacious apartments, caring staff, lively

My mom loves it and I finally feel relieved. The roomy 450 sq ft apartments with a kitchenette, separate living area, nice bedroom and bath are great, and the staff are consistently helpful and friendly. Residents seem happy, activities and an on-site daycare keep things lively, the menu is appealing, and the location in a small town is attractive.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment across the reviews is generally positive regarding the physical environment, resident mood, and interpersonal aspects of Parkview Pointe Senior Living & Parkview Pals ELC. Multiple reviewers highlight the facility’s attractive location and the quality of the living spaces. Specific praise is given to the large 450 sq ft rooms that include a kitchenette and living area, along with well-appointed bathrooms and bedrooms. The facility itself is described as "very nice," and one reviewer explicitly notes that a family member ("mom") loves living there and feels relief from the family’s perspective, signaling strong family satisfaction and perceived resident well‑being.

Care quality and staffing present a mixed picture. Staff are repeatedly described as very helpful and friendly, and interactions between residents and staff appear positive where observed. However, several operational concerns temper that praise: reviewers mention that the facility cannot accommodate a diabetic resident due to staffing constraints, and multiple comments point to relatively few staff on duty for what is described as a large facility. These points suggest that while the staff who are present are supportive and caring, staffing levels and clinical capabilities may be limited. This indicates the facility may be better suited to residents with low to moderate care needs rather than those requiring complex medical management.

Management and consistency are additional areas of concern. One review notes that the administrator is not present often, which can affect oversight, communication, and responsiveness. There is also an inconsistency in programming: some reviewers mention that activities are offered and residents are interacting, while at least one visitor observed no activities during their visit. This discrepancy could reflect scheduling (activities not occurring at the time of a particular visit), staffing variability, or uneven implementation of programming. Prospective families should verify activity schedules and observe at different times to get a full sense of daily life.

Facilities and amenities receive mostly favorable remarks. The presence of an on-site daycare is noted as a distinguishing feature and could provide intergenerational interaction and community energy. Dining is described positively with a "nice menu." Grounds are characterized as "okay," which implies they are adequate but not exceptional. The small-town location is presented neutrally to positively by some (attractive location), but is listed among cons by others as a potential limitation depending on individual preferences for access to urban services or amenities.

Notable patterns and recommendations: reviewers consistently praise the physical accommodations and the friendly nature of staff, and families report relief and satisfaction with their loved ones’ happiness. At the same time, there are repeated signals around staffing sufficiency and clinical limitations (explicitly the inability to support diabetes care), and at least one comment about limited administrator presence. For those considering Parkview Pointe/Parkview Pals, this combination suggests the facility is a strong candidate for residents who prioritize spacious living quarters, social opportunities, and a welcoming staff in a small-town setting, but families should conduct targeted due diligence. Specifically, ask about current staffing ratios and staff turnover, confirm whether specific medical needs (like diabetes management) can be supported, request activity schedules and observe at multiple times of day, and discuss administrative availability and communication practices. These steps will help determine whether the facility’s strengths match the prospective resident’s care needs and expectations.

About Parkview Pointe Senior Living & Parkview Pals ELC

Parkview Pointe Senior Living & Parkview Pals ELC sits on eight acres in Laverne, OK, with open pasture and a city park nearby, and the place aims to create a comfortable and secure home for seniors while also providing an early learning center called Parkview Pals ELC for young children, so you'll find both older adults and kids spending time under one roof. Parkview Pointe Senior Living has assisted living for adults aged 55 and up, with a caring staff on hand day and night to help with daily activities, medication, meals, and personal care, and they make individual care plans for each person, letting seniors enjoy their independence but get help when they need it. There are options for semi-private one-bedroom apartments, with model apartments you can look at before moving in, and two shared living rooms where folks sit together and talk, a private dining room for meals with guests, and two places outside for relaxing or having a chat in the fresh air. The memory care program, called Parkview Pals ELC, is set up for those needing extra support, and the community covers basic needs in a clean, quiet setting, offering both scheduled activities and peaceful times when residents want quiet. Children have their own amenities and programs through the early learning center, which is part of the same building, so the place feels lively during the day. People say the community has a first-class feeling but still feels like home, with open spaces and a balance of privacy and company, and everyone can come and go as they please, with a safe and steady environment that encourages both activity and rest. Employment opportunities exist, with a process in place for questions about jobs or the community, and those running the place say their mission is focused on straightforward care for seniors, offering dignity and support in daily living. The administration has online login features, and there are plans and pricing options for families to view, with a free trial sign-up system and services connected to Fitch Solutions Service and Mirador Living senior living guides and partners, though the community keeps things focused on the basics-taking care of people, keeping things tidy and friendly, and bringing together older and younger generations where everyone can thrive at their own pace.
