I'm very pleased with this small, well-kept community. The staff and management are kind, attentive and communicative; they helped with paperwork and med coordination. Rooms (studios and one-bedrooms) are bright and comfortable, dining is good, and amenities are plentiful - exercise room, library, movie theater, patio/gardens, outings and frequent events. Pet-friendly, on-site nursing, transparent pricing and easy parking made the move straightforward. I'd recommend it for a warm, homey place with reliable care.

Summary of reviews
Prestige Senior Living Huntington Terrace presents as a small, hotel-like assisted living community with a clearly visible emphasis on cleanliness, communal spaces, and a socially active environment. Many families praised the facility's bright common areas, on-site amenities (movie theater, library, exercise room), outdoor patio/gardening, and buffet-style dining. Apartment choices include roomy one-bedrooms and studios that commonly include microwaves and small refrigerators; some unit types are smaller, so prospective residents should review floor plans in person.
Care quality and clinical oversight receive generally positive comments: nursing staff presence, med-management processes, quick response from MedAides, coordination with hospitals, and cooperative hospice transitions were noted as strengths. Several families described compassionate, attentive caregiving and effective coordination across medication administration and lab visits. At the same time, there are patterns indicating gaps in continuity during higher-acuity events and overnight hours. Reviewers raised concerns about delays in emergency response during nighttime shifts and uneven handling of acute transfers and transitions to higher-level care.
Staff and management impressions are mixed. Numerous reviews emphasize kind, respectful, and helpful direct-care staff who create a family-like atmosphere and strong resident–family communication. Conversely, other comments point to inconsistent managerial behavior, occasional unhelpful interactions, and administrative communication lapses. High staff turnover and training shortcomings were cited as operational weaknesses that can affect day-to-day consistency. Prospective families should ask about current staffing ratios, staff tenure, training protocols, and escalation procedures during tours.
Dining and activities are generally accessible and social. The dining room atmosphere and meal presentation are frequently described positively, with menu variety and generous portions noted; some reviewers, however, described variable food quality or individual appetite issues for particular residents. Activity programming includes bingo, crafts, outings, holiday events, church services, and on-site entertainment; many residents appear engaged, though a subset of comments suggests programming can be uneven and may not meet all residents' expectations for variety or frequency.
Facilities and logistics are frequently praised: clean, well-kept interiors, good parking, on-site laundry, transportation to appointments, pet-friendly accommodations, and outdoor gardening spaces. Pricing is positioned at a premium relative to some local alternatives, and the private-pay to Medicaid timeline is an important financial detail to review. Operationally, reviewers indicated occasional unclear policies around resident discharge or transfers, and some recommended clarifying contractual and eviction/transfer procedures in advance.
Overall, Huntington Terrace may be a good fit for families prioritizing a warm social environment, visible nursing oversight, and strong end-of-life support. To make an informed decision, visitors should tour multiple unit types, request details about overnight medical coverage and emergency protocols, review staff-training and turnover metrics, and clarify financial transition policies and any additional fees. Direct questions about activity schedules, meal accommodations, and recent staffing stability will help align expectations with current operations.

About Prestige Senior Living Huntington Terrace
Prestige Senior Living Huntington Terrace sits on NE Cleveland Avenue in Gresham, surrounded by colorful trees and near shopping, clinics, and useful services, so it feels homey but keeps things convenient, and you'll notice right away the grounds are well-kept, with nice outdoor seating and spaces where residents spend time together or just relax, plus inside they've renovated things to feel modern and welcoming, with common rooms filled with natural light where people gather or take part in planned activities from the social calendar, happy hours, or exercise classes. They offer choices for independent living if someone's mostly self-sufficient, assisted living when a person needs help with bathing, dressing, or remembering medicine, and memory care for people living with Alzheimer's or dementia, and you'll find their Expressions memory care program creates secure spaces that reduce confusion and help residents feel calm and safe, with staff there day and night. Folks can pick from different room sizes, starting from 365 up to 595 square feet, many with kitchenettes, and pets are welcome, which can really make things feel homier, while all areas are wheelchair accessible and have high-speed internet for those who want it. The community often schedules events, family dinners in the private dining room, and outings, since transportation and housekeeping are included, and the staff's known for being both friendly and respectful, always helping out with daily needs, medication, or arranging for a doctor or therapist to visit if needed. Nutritious meals, from old favorites to other world cuisines, are made with attention to health and taste, and the Celebrations wellness program and The Prestige Lifestyle both focus on keeping people active, content, and connected, with exercise classes, mental games, and life-enriching hobbies. There's also a skilled nursing facility on site for residents who need more medical attention, plus short-term retreat stays if someone just needs help to recover for a while, and coordinated care for those on hospice or rehabilitative services. Residents have less to worry about because maintenance, cleaning, and much of daily life is taken care of, letting people enjoy community connections, visits from family, or peaceful time in the garden. Tour appointments are encouraged if anyone wants a closer look at the rooms, dining options, and kinds of services being offered.
