    Compassionate staff and excellent rehab

I was very pleased with the professional, warm and caring staff-nurses, aides and therapy teams were attentive and compassionate, and Jason, Julianna and others went above and beyond. The facility was clean and welcoming, meals and rehab (OT/PT) were excellent, security and check-in were smooth, and my relative went home well prepared after nine weeks-I'm grateful and would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a mixed but distinct pattern: the facility is consistently praised for its direct-care staff and therapy services, while operational and management shortcomings are repeatedly implicated in families' negative experiences. Many reviewers highlight compassionate nurses, attentive CNAs, and an effective occupational and physical therapy team that in several cases supported substantial functional recovery and return home. Admissions, social-work and front-desk personnel are frequently described as welcoming and helpful, and the site offers practical supports such as transportation to medical appointments and assistance with home-equipment and device replacement.

Care quality shows variability. Positive accounts emphasize attentive bedside manner, prompt notifications about medication changes, and successful rehabilitative outcomes. Conversely, there are recurrent concerns about medication delays, pain-management consistency, and transfer technique — issues that translate into perceived safety risks for some residents. Several reviews call out longer wait times for staff response and inconsistent supervision during higher-acuity needs.

Dining and activities are similarly mixed. Numerous reviewers commend the food quality, portion sizes, and the social dining environment; others describe order inaccuracies, small portions, and inconsistent meal delivery. Recreational programming appears limited or unevenly implemented for some residents, while other families report an active, social atmosphere in the dining and common areas.

The physical plant and operational systems show clear areas for improvement. Reviewers describe maintenance needs (peeling wallpaper, inoperative fixtures, cold entrances), accessibility/ADA concerns, and uneven cleanliness or odor control across units. Laundry handling and personal-belongings procedures are cited as a recurrent problem area. Security at the entrance and check-in processes are commonly noted as strengths, but there are also statements about unclear visiting policies and inconsistent infection-control practices.

Management and organizational culture emerge as another polarizing theme. Some families describe responsive administrators who address issues; others report disengaged leadership, poor communication, and heavy reliance on agency or temporary staff. There are serious, singular-level concerns in a subset of reviews — including allegations of theft and complaints following adverse outcomes — which reviewers raised as matters requiring formal investigation. These allegations and safety-related complaints underscore the importance of verifying current corrective actions and oversight when evaluating the facility.

For prospective residents and families: weigh the facility's clear strengths in hands-on nursing care and rehabilitation against its operational inconsistencies. When touring or assessing the center, prioritize direct observation of staffing levels on the units of interest, ask about transfer and fall-prevention protocols, review medication-administration and notification processes, inspect rooms and common areas for maintenance and accessibility, inquire about laundry and belongings safeguards, and request written visiting and infection-control policies. Follow up on management's plan to address staffing stability, training, and any past allegations or corrective actions to form a balanced decision.

Right now, the center isn't taking new patients, but you can call to ask when admission might open up. They don't list a fax number anywhere, but their phone line is active for questions. The services cover the basics all the way through to more specialized care for those who need extra support, and living here means all the ordinary things-like meals, cleaning, and activities-are looked after alongside skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
