Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit healthcare facility in Rhode Island, founded back in 1874, that provides skilled nursing, memory care, and rehabilitation services for adults who need different levels of care, and the building is set up with a first-floor dining room, hallways leading outside through the lobby, and amenities that help residents feel comfortable and at home, and you'll find that long hallways and common spaces make it feel welcoming and easy to get around, and the staff there includes nurses, therapists, and caregivers who work together to make sure each person gets the right attention based on their needs. The organization is run by a volunteer Board of Directors focused on keeping care quality high, and they're supported by volunteers and family donors so the residents can have more activities and extra services you might not find everywhere, and over the years Steere House has stayed committed to helping seniors heal, keep their independence, and feel their best even as their needs change. They offer both short-term and long-term stays, with specialized programs for rehabilitation, dementia, and restorative care, including ways to help people regain strength so they can sometimes return to their own homes.
