Tidepointe is a 63-acre senior living community run by Vi Living on Hilton Head Island that's known as a Type C Continuing Care Retirement Community, which some people call a Life Plan Community, offering help for people at different stages like independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, memory care, and home care, while having a membership model with entrance fees where residents pay for extra care if they need it. There's a friendly, joyful feel to the place, and their staff is known for being helpful and kind, while engaging residents with physical and mental activities, memory programs, and social events connected to Hilton Head Island like the Gregg Russell Summer Concerts and Sunset Celebrations. Tidepointe's transportation services include both resident parking and free group rides so it's easy to get to outings, shopping, or medical appointments nearby, and there's virtual touring for those who can't visit right away. Residents find all the usual help with daily needs-like oral care, eating, transferring, or managing medicines-and with features like priority access to higher care levels, modern amenities, climate-controlled walkways, all-inclusive services, and beautiful views, the community aims for a supportive and pleasant senior living experience. The Broad Creek Care Center and the whole community have earned awards, but there's still a focus on clear assistance and practical support, not just luxury. Tidepointe has its offices open weekdays during business hours and closes on weekends, and charges fees for services as they're needed, matching its structure as a Type C community.
