    About Lampasas Assisted Living

Lampasas Assisted Living sits on a pretty five-acre campus and welcomes up to 50 residents, mostly offering private rooms or spaces, some with kitchenettes, so people have a bit of their own place while still getting help as needed, and they've made sure the little details for comfort are there, like furnished rooms, a phone line, and ACH monthly payment, with meal service included-three fresh, home-cooked meals each day, snacks out all the time, and dining that feels more like a cafe than a cafeteria with staff making sure special diets, allergies, or diabetes needs are met, and they've got the common areas like a big community room, arts room, a quiet garden with walking paths, and even a full beauty salon for hair and nails, which folks seem to appreciate, and the pets are welcome, too, so the place feels more like home. There's support for daily living, like help with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, medication management, and incontinence care, and a 24-hour call system with staff always there, so people get the right amount of help from caregivers who are trained and kind, and services cover four levels of support so residents stay as independent as possible. Lampasas Assisted Living also provides escorts to meals and activities, wellness and safety checks each month, and, for people who need non-ambulatory care or overnight help, staff are right there even at night, assisting when needed. Residents can use a Resident Travel Program and visit another SilverCare Living location for up to 10 days a year if family can help with the ride, which is a nice bit of variety. The Life Enrichment Program keeps folks busy, including group outings, movies, music, fitness groups, worship services, arts, gardening, parties, and family-included events; plus, there are activity nights, resident-run socials, and both on-site and off-site opportunities. There's local transportation for errands and appointments and parking for those still able to drive, and, for extra medical needs, outside providers come in for things like hospice, home health, mobile dentistry, therapy, and more. Housekeeping is handled with daily room tidy-up, weekly cleaning, and laundry for towels and bedding along with clothes wash, dry, and fold, though they won't do hand-wash or dry cleaning. Residents get linen service and cable TV in common spaces, or in-room for a small extra fee, so it feels more comfortable. Lampasas keeps everything extremely clean and neat and is known for being open 24/7, with staff who take care seriously but also try to make everyone feel welcome, friendly, and comfortable. The focus here stays on safe, affordable luxury living, with several floor plans to fit different needs, and plenty of chances for activity, quiet time, or visits with family and friends in a safe, well-kept place.
