    Excellent compassionate care and coordination

I placed my dad here and have been very pleased - the home-like facility is clean and well-maintained, staff are kind, professional and attentive, meals are good, medications and doctor visits are coordinated on time, activities are engaging, and family communication is excellent. Compassionate hospice support and hands-on owner involvement added reassurance; I recommend this place.

    Summary of reviews

Review content describes a facility that delivers many strengths alongside notable operational variability. Positive feedback centers on attentive, compassionate caregiving; a clean, well-kept home environment; and a program of activities that supports socialization. Multiple accounts highlight effective hospice involvement and individualized end-of-life attention, steady medication administration, 24-hour availability, and staff willingness to provide personal support. Families and visitors often describe private rooms, homelike decor, garden access, and responsive housekeeping as contributors to a comfortable resident experience.

Dining and programming are frequently praised for nutritious meals, including accommodation for dietary needs such as vegan diets, and for scheduled social activities that promote engagement. At the same time, reviewers indicate variability in meal quality and continuity of food service; management should be prepared to address expectations around advertised home-cooked meals versus actual daily offerings. Activity programming generally receives positive notes, but several accounts point to limited engagement for some residents, particularly when staffing levels are reduced.

Operational concerns cluster around staffing consistency and management oversight. Several reviews describe uneven staff responsiveness and conduct, and instances that imply delays in personal-care tasks such as dressing or incontinence management and gaps in wound-care follow-up. These concerns suggest the facility may experience intermittent understaffing or inconsistent training/oversight, which in turn affects both daily care and family confidence. A subset of comments raise questions about owner/management behavior and communication consistency — including follow-through after families raise issues and clarity about contractual terms such as notice periods and pricing.

For prospective residents and families: this facility appears capable of providing compassionate, personalized care in a small, home-like setting, and it has strong hospice linkages and a generally clean environment. However, the pattern of variability — in staffing, meal consistency, activity engagement, and management responsiveness — is important to probe during a visit. Recommended questions include current staffing ratios, protocols for incontinence and wound-care monitoring, examples of menu rotation and meal preparation, how management documents and follows up on family concerns, and the exact terms for notice and billing. A direct tour, reference checks, and reviewing written care plans and contracts will help determine whether this facility’s strengths align with an individual resident’s needs and expectations.

    About Ultimate Care Homes

3 Senior Assisted Living includes Ultimate Care by God's Angels, Ultimate Care by God's Providers, and Ultimate Care by God's Servants, and these make up a group of board and care homes and residential care facilities that serve a small number of residents in each home, and what you'll find there is a range of care from assisted living and memory care to skilled nursing and board and care, which means they help with daily needs like meals, medication, and personal care, and in their communities, some places also offer independent living where seniors can get optional support services if they want them, along with maintenance-free living, social activities, and resort-style amenities, and when someone needs more help, they have round-the-clock medical support in their skilled nursing facilities with things like rehabilitation, wound care, and full nursing assistance, and for seniors with memory problems like Alzheimer's or dementia, there are secure memory care areas that stay staffed day and night, with programs designed to help memory and keep people safe, and the organization keeps a connection to company resources like trusted partners, senior living guides, and privacy policies, so there's information for families who want to look further, and across the group, staff work to support independence while still giving help as needed on a personal level.
