    Beautiful grounds excellent memory care

I moved my loved one to Creekside and have been very pleased - the building and grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept, and the staff are consistently kind, patient and welcoming. Memory care is excellent, activities are plentiful and engaging, and the dining program (large bright dining room, good food and menu choices) impressed us. The transition was smooth, residents seem happy and well cared for, and I'd recommend it as a top-notch, family-oriented option.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Creekside projects a high-end, resort-style assisted living and memory care environment with consistently positive feedback on cleanliness, décor, and grounds. The property is repeatedly described as modern and well maintained, with extensive common areas and outdoor amenities that create a strong first-impression 'five-star' feel. Families frequently note a warm, family-like atmosphere and a high level of resident satisfaction.

Care and staff: Reviews emphasize compassionate, attentive caregiving and a memory care program that many families characterize as well trained and secure. Staff at multiple levels — including nurses, memory-care directors, and activity professionals — are described as responsive, patient, and personable; many accounts highlight staff learning residents’ names and providing individualized attention. On-site clinical resources (nurse, physician relationships, physical and occupational therapy, hospice partnerships) are cited as important strengths that support both short-term rehabilitation and longer-term care needs.

Dining and nutrition: Dining is a clear highlight. The community is described as having a strong culinary program with a skilled chef, varied menus (including specialty classes and cuisine-focused offerings), meal choices, and accommodating dietary requests. All-day dining, 24/7 snack options, and a restaurant-style dining room contribute to a hospitality-focused experience. A number of reviewers specifically praised the quality of meals and desserts.

Activities and programming: Creekside offers an extensive, active social calendar with clubs, arts and crafts, music and dance studios, regular outings, movie nights, religious services, and on-campus events (bingo, pie nights, barbecues). The activities program is repeatedly noted as robust and tailored to different levels of ability, with specific praise for directors who adapt programming for residents with cognitive or sensory challenges.

Facilities and amenities: The building and grounds are described as attractive and thoughtfully appointed: movie theater, game rooms, exercise areas, physical therapy space, salon, and multiple dining venues. Outdoor assets (putting green, pond, patios) are commonly highlighted. At the same time, the campus scale and layout create longer walking distances and segmented venues, which can be inconvenient for residents or visitors with limited mobility.

Management and operations: Administrative and tour staff receive positive marks for helpfulness, clear tours, and supportive move-in processes. Several reviewers credit leadership and specific staff members for effective operations and family communication. However, operational patterns inferred from reviews include phased amenity rollouts (some intended features not yet fully operational), waiting-list constraints, and variability in staff experience that can affect day-to-day service consistency. A limited number of comments point to communication or resident-location procedure gaps; while not a prevalent theme, it is a notable operational risk to monitor.

Notable patterns and suitability: Creekside is positioned as a premium option: many reviewers praise its resort-like ambiance, comprehensive services, and strong memory-care capabilities, making it attractive to families seeking a high-touch, activity-rich setting with on-site clinical supports. Prospective residents should weigh the higher cost and the physical scale of the campus against these strengths. For individuals with significant mobility limitations or who require immediate move-in, the campus layout, potential walking distances, availability constraints, and phased amenity openings are important practical considerations.

Bottom line: Creekside appears to deliver high-quality, person-centered care within an upscale, activity-rich environment, with particular strengths in memory care, dining, and on-site clinical services. Prospective residents and families should plan a detailed tour focused on apartment layout, walkability, amenity availability, staffing experience for their specific care needs, and current waitlist/pricing status to confirm alignment with their priorities.

About Creekside Assisted & Senior Living

Creekside Assisted & Senior Living sits in Bountiful, Utah, nestled among pretty grounds with walking paths, outdoor patios, a deck, and a gazebo that make it easy for seniors to wander or just sit and enjoy the surroundings, though the community's real focus is on offering a full range of care options so as needs change, residents can stay in the same familiar place with the same friendly faces. Folks find options here like independent living for seniors who want to live on their own and like a lively social scene, assisted living for those who want a hand with daily things like bathing and dressing, memory care with secure areas for people living with Alzheimer's or dementia, respite care for families who just need a short break, at-home care, and even skilled nursing for folks needing more hands-on medical help or recovery after an illness or surgery. There's 24-hour staff-including medical staff on-site-ready to respond to emergencies, manage medications, and offer compassionate support. Apartments come in different sizes-studio, one and two-bedroom-and people say they're the biggest in Bountiful, each with private bathrooms designed for safety, kitchenettes with mini-fridges and microwaves, and heating and air-conditioning you can control yourself.

Inside, you'll find specialized spaces built for comfort and safety, with wide hallways, open gathering spots, an activity room, computer office, and even a library for those who love books or just want a quiet corner, plus free Wi-Fi, a beauty salon and barber shop, complimentary laundry rooms, and daily light housekeeping so folks don't have to worry about chores. There are gathering areas for games, cards, or quiet conversation, and a full schedule of social, educational, and entertainment activities led by cheerful staff, who run everything from fitness classes to art projects to group outings on their weekly shuttle. A full-time concierge helps coordinate social events and appointments. Residents can share three meals a day in a restaurant-style dining area, choose from more than ten menu options, enjoy all-day coffee and pastries at the bistro, and join friends in the bright, open living room or wander out to walking trails if the sun's shining. Housekeeping and linen services keep apartments neat. Safety and security features-including regular staff checks and secure memory care areas-help families rest easier.

Creekside is a continuing care retirement community that lets people stay put even if needs change over time. Its focus is on compassionate, affordable care, backed up by staff who know their work and seem to stick around, which helps people feel at home, and there's a welcoming, home-like feel where pets are close by and the staff treat folks with respect. People living here enjoy apartment layouts that let them keep their privacy and independence, yet they can also join daily activities that help friendships grow. Creekside offers month-to-month contracts, so there's no big commitment, and they have resources available to help with anything-from transportation for medical visits to support for aging, illness, or rehabilitation. This is a Stellar Living community, run as a non-profit, where the staff aim for consistent quality care, and they work alongside family advisors to make sure residents get the support that fits their situation best.
