    Attentive staff, beautiful accessible facility

I moved my mom in recently and have been very pleased. The staff (shoutout to Laura and Executive Director Jody) were attentive, friendly, and made the transition smooth and stress-free. The building is beautiful, immaculate, and accessible - bright studio with a large bathroom and window, elevator, wheelchair shower, emergency pull cords and pendants. Meals are excellent with generous portions, the dining room is lovely, and there are plenty of daily activities and exercise groups, so my mom feels at home and I have real peace of mind.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews convey a generally positive experience with strong strengths in staff engagement, move-in coordination, and resident-focused care. Families frequently describe attentive, compassionate caregivers and management that is visible and responsive. Many accounts emphasize smooth transitions from hospital or other settings, personalized care planning, and supportive end-of-life/hospice services that provide families with peace of mind.

Care and staff: The workforce is consistently described as friendly, respectful, and proactive. Reviewers highlight individualized attention, assistance with medical appointments and medications, and staff willingness to go beyond routine duties. Leadership presence and phone coordination are cited as helpful during admissions and early adjustment. At the same time, there are mentions of staffing shortfalls that appear to affect service consistency at times; prospective families may wish to ask about current staff-to-resident ratios and contingency staffing plans.

Dining and activities: Dining is a clear strength for many residents — an attractive dining room, varied menus, and generally well-prepared meals receive positive comment. The community offers multiple meal choices and an active dining environment. Activity programming is robust, with daily calendars, exercise groups, seasonal events, Bingo, and other social offerings that support engagement. Operational notes include variable portion sizing (some residents find portions large) and isolated concerns about dishwashing and kitchen sanitation that families may want to review during a tour.

Facilities and operations: The building and apartments are described as bright, attractive, and accessible, with features such as wheelchair-accessible showers, elevators, emergency pull cords, and pendant alerts that support resident safety. Common areas and views are often praised. Operationally, reviews indicate occasional maintenance items and uneven housekeeping or sanitation practices in some areas; these operational gaps appear episodic rather than systemic but are worth confirming. In summary, the facility demonstrates strong person-centered care, engaging programming, and an appealing physical environment, with the main operational caveats being housekeeping/sanitation consistency, maintenance responsiveness, and intermittent staffing pressures. Visitors should observe cleanliness practices, ask about maintenance turnaround times, and discuss meal-portion options when evaluating fit.
