    Warm clean caring small home

My mother lives here and I'm very pleased. Kris and Kevin are warm owners, the administrators and staff (Jessica, Teresa, Kim) are professional, organized and keep the small eight-bed home spotless and cozy; medications are well managed, entertainment and choices abound, and meals/desserts are homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and festive - flowers with name plates, no rushing - so it's easy to recommend (note: there's a waiting list).

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a polarized picture of Bright Faith Senior Living - Camelot Home. Several accounts describe a small, home-like eight-bed environment with a clean, well-kept interior, personalized touches, and staff who provide warm, unrushed interactions. Families praised homemade meals, festive common areas, competent care coordination, and accessible administrators and owners. These positive descriptions suggest the facility can deliver a cozy, individualized atmosphere with engaged hospitality and visible leadership.

At the same time, a number of reviewers raised substantial operational concerns that point to system-level weaknesses. There are allegations of medication diversion and misappropriation of personal property in some accounts, alongside descriptions of missed or unadministered medications and instances where staff refused to administer medications. Taken together, these concerns indicate gaps in medication administration, inventory control, and resident-property safeguards that warrant direct clarification from management.

Staffing and supervision emerge as other prominent patterns. Reviewers reported high caregiver turnover, chronic understaffing, and instances of inadequate supervision during shifts. These dynamics were connected to concerns about staff training, inconsistent responsiveness to basic resident needs, and variability in how daily care tasks are completed. While some staff and administrators were described as professional and knowledgeable, the facility appears to have inconsistent staffing reliability across shifts.

Dining and activities display a similar split. Positive comments highlight authentic, home-cooked meals, desserts, and choices for residents as well as occasional entertainment and a festive atmosphere. Conversely, other reports cite inconsistent dietary accommodations, interruptions in food or basic supply availability, and an absence of pre-planned leisure programming. This suggests that dining quality and activity scheduling may depend on staffing levels or particular shifts.

Facility maintenance and safety-related observations are mixed. Some reviewers found the environment cozy and well-maintained; others noted cleanliness issues in communal and resident areas, supply shortages for basic items, and general sanitation concerns. There are also broader remarks implying gaps in safety protocols and family–management communication, including descriptions of confrontational interactions and concerns about accountability.

Overall, the pattern in these summaries is one of variability: the home can provide personalized, attentive care and a warm atmosphere at times, yet operational inconsistencies—particularly around medication controls, staffing, sanitation, supply management, and activity planning—have led to serious concerns for some families. Prospective residents and their families should verify current staffing levels, medication-administration policies and audits, supply and housekeeping procedures, staff training and supervision protocols, and channels for family communication before making placement decisions.
