    About Pine View

Pine View sits at 727 E Sixth Street in New Richmond, Wisconsin, right in ST CROIX County, and though it's not a new building, the facility keeps everything well-maintained, with gardens, walking paths, and a nice courtyard for residents who like to get outside, plus there's on-site parking and transportation if someone needs a ride to an appointment or just to go around town, and you can even find places to eat or a church within a mile, which makes things pretty convenient. The facility runs as a group home offering assisted living, memory care, nursing home care, independent living, and a continuing care retirement community, with four private bedrooms for residents, all in single bedroom units that have safe apartment designs and ADA-compliant private baths, plus you get furnished rooms, balconies for fresh air, telephone access, and even storage space for your things. Residents get all the help they need with daily activities like bathing, dressing, transfers, and medication management, and staff help with low mobility, feeding by spoon, diabetes management, continence, and even complicated care needs with tailored plans for each person, and there's always at least one staff up and awake all night, trained for Medicaid personal care, lifts, and transfers, serving those with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or brain injuries, and supervision is high to moderate as each situation needs. There's lots to do, with daily activities, arts and crafts, computer classes, fitness equipment, walking trails, massage therapy, a theater for movies, movie nights, a chapel, a cafe, and organized social events so nobody feels left out, and if someone wants quiet time, they've got gardens and lots of green space. Residents don't have to worry about meals since there's a staff dietitian, chef-prepared food, special diets for allergies and diabetes, plus pharmacy service, dementia-friendly menus, and individual dining help if needed, so people get what they need and stay healthy. Safety comes first with features like emergency pull cords, excellent resident security, a nurse on staff, scheduled doctor visits, 24-hour supervision, home maintenance, housekeeping, private laundry including dry cleaning, and facility-wide wifi so staying in touch with family is easy. Pine View delivers care in English, and everything from move-in help to medication and dietary needs gets handled by a caring team, and though it's only four assisted living units, the place keeps a close community feel, scoring a 3.6 on their rating scale, and while not fancy, Pine View stays dedicated to comfort, wellness, and giving each resident personal attention so they can feel as independent and safe as possible in their own space, and you'll notice the staff stays busy supporting everyone whether it's a simple daily task or a more involved care need.
