      Compassionate staff extended dad's life

I had a great tour - the community was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. The staff were hands-on, patient and compassionate, even willing to negotiate pricing, and their care extended my dad's life by a year. I'm deeply grateful; they were a true gift from God to our family.

      Summary of reviews

Overall impression The review summaries convey a consistently positive view of day-to-day care and the physical environment at Miracle Manor. Families highlight compassionate, patient, and hands-on staff and credit the facility with meaningful clinical support. The community is described as clean and well-maintained and is located in a favorable neighborhood; tours left a good impression for visitors. Pricing flexibility is noted, which may help families manage costs.

Care quality and staff The dominant theme is strong interpersonal care: staff are characterized as patient, kind, and engaged in hands-on caregiving. One family attributed an extension of a loved one’s life to the care received, which suggests clinicians and caregivers provided attentive clinical oversight and support during a complex period. This pattern indicates reliable frontline caregiving and a staff culture oriented toward personal attention. Prospective residents should still verify staffing ratios and clinical credentials for specific care needs.

Dining, activities, and daily programming The available summaries do not offer substantive detail about dining quality, meal variety, or the breadth of social and therapeutic activities. Because reviewers praised the facility’s cleanliness and tour experience but did not elaborate on programming, it would be prudent for prospective residents and families to request menus, activity calendars, and examples of engagement or therapy offerings during a visit.

Facilities and management Physical upkeep and cleanliness are recurring positives; the community is described as tidy and welcoming. Families appreciated the tour experience, which suggests the admissions process and front‑line communication are generally effective. The note that pricing is negotiable points to some operational flexibility in billing or contract terms. Prospective families should obtain written pricing details and clarify what services are included versus billed separately.

Notable patterns and recommendations The main pattern to note is the strong emphasis on compassionate, hands-on caregiving and a well-kept facility environment. A single, recurring caveat is that Miracle Manor may not be the ideal fit for every resident. That suggests variability in suitability for particular medical, behavioral, or personal-preference profiles. To assess fit, families should ask targeted questions about the facility’s experience with specific care needs, staffing levels during nights and weekends, individualized care plans, and examples of how the community adapts programming for residents with higher dependency or specialized requirements.

Bottom line For families seeking a clean, neighborhood-oriented community with engaged and compassionate staff, Miracle Manor appears to offer strengths worth considering. However, because information on dining and activities is limited and there may be variability in fit for residents with specialized or high-dependency needs, a comprehensive tour and direct questions about clinical capabilities, staffing, programming, and pricing are recommended before making a placement decision.

      About Miracle Manor

Miracle Manor sits in a quiet Rockville neighborhood near the Shady Grove Metro, shopping, and restaurants, and it's got just five residents in a single-story building that's easy to get around, which helps keep things peaceful, and it's owned by a registered nurse who's worked in healthcare over 17 years so folks can expect practical nursing knowledge on hand. Residents here choose between private and semi-private rooms with wheelchair accessible showers, bathtubs, cable TV, and Wi-Fi, and there's a secured perimeter and a gated entrance for safety, which is good for those who might need a little extra supervision or have memory concerns. There are both indoor and outdoor common areas set up for relaxing and socializing, and there are quiet spots and gardens, plus activity rooms where people can enjoy things like music, games, fitness, and horticulture programs-they offer structured activities both onsite and offsite to keep minds and bodies active, and devotional activities are available at nearby places. Miracle Manor licenses for assisted living, memory care, nursing home, and independent living services, and folks as young as 18 can move in, which is unusual, and the facility's got licensed and registered staff, including part-time nurses and care assistants available 24 hours a day; these staff help with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, and medication management. The team can handle complex medical needs like diabetes care, incontinence, wound care, feeding tubes, catheters, colostomy, IV therapies, and tracheostomy, and an on-site RN and visiting physician support regular health care, with free pharmacy services and help arranging visits or transport if residents need to see their doctors. Meals and snacks get cooked onsite and served daily with options to match doctor's orders, and the staff take care of laundry, linens, and housekeeping. Transportation's available for errands or appointments for an extra cost, but there's free parking for residents and guests, and public transit's easy to reach nearby. The community stays pet-free, but it does allow for a range of activity programs and resident engagement, including religious services offered offsite. Safety's emphasized through locked doors and around-the-clock care, and the building was last renovated in 2019 which keeps things up to date, but the homelike feeling remains. There's a straightforward, all-inclusive monthly pricing model starting at $2,500 for assisted living and memory care. They also accept respite stays and have special services like hospice care, in-home health, skilled nursing, and consulting for family members or organizations interested in elder care. Miracle Manor keeps things personal and quiet, focusing on meaningful relationships and attentive help with daily living while making sure it doesn't feel too clinical or overwhelming for anyone who wants a steady, friendly place in a small, secure setting.
