    Professional compassionate bilingual staff; secure

I feel reassured having my mom here - the staff are professional, compassionate and bilingual, give regular updates, and 24-hour attendants, emergency pull cords and security doors provide real peace of mind. The grounds and units are beautifully maintained, parking and an on-site community center are convenient, and prompt maintenance (Paul had our AC working the next day) makes this a reliable, friendly place.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews describe a facility with consistently positive interpersonal and environmental attributes. Staff are repeatedly characterized as professional, caring, courteous, and attentive; families highlight compassionate interactions and prompt responsiveness from maintenance and security personnel. Groundskeeping and exterior amenities receive strong praise, and the site’s convenient location, sheltered bus stop, ample parking, and carports are frequently noted as practical benefits.

Care and staff: The dominant pattern in feedback is favorable toward staff quality and responsiveness. Care-related comments emphasize courteous, discreet, and compassionate treatment of residents, with bilingual staff available and a 24-hour attendant on duty for security and maintenance. Maintenance responsiveness is a recurring strength (for example, timely air-conditioner repairs), which contributes to resident peace of mind. Reviewers also note staff involvement in managing interpersonal issues among residents.

Facilities and safety: The property has undergone visible infrastructure investments: updated smoke and fire alarms, an Emergency Pull Cord system, security doors, and other enhanced safety features. Recreational infrastructure includes an on-site community center, a recreation room with television and books, expanded exercise equipment, an outdoor patio, and designated spaces such as a smoking room. Overall facility upkeep and landscaping are described as well maintained and attractive.

Activities and amenities: Available amenities include TV/cable and at least partial internet access, community spaces, exercise equipment, and outdoor seating. Residents are allowed to maintain potted plants, which contributes to a homelike environment. While recreation spaces are present, reviews provide limited detail about a formal activities schedule or dining programming, so prospective residents should request specifics about organized social programming and meal services.

Management and patterns to verify: Management appears responsive, with ongoing upgrades and visible attention to safety and maintenance. However, the existence of ongoing renovations and infrastructure work means there may be periodic disruption; prospective residents should ask about timelines and scope. Internet and cable availability is described inconsistently (available in some references and “planned” in others), so confirm current connectivity in specific units. Reviews also indicate staff regularly mediate resident-to-resident conflicts; prospective residents or families may wish to inquire about behavioral policies and conflict-resolution procedures. Finally, the facility maintains a designated indoor smoking area, which may be a consideration for those sensitive to smoke exposure.

Recommendations for families touring the facility: Ask for the current status and timeline of upgrades, unit-level internet/cable availability, examples of typical daily activities and dining menus, the facility’s policy on smoking and air-quality accommodations, and the approach to resident conflict resolution. These targeted questions will clarify operational details that reviews do not uniformly describe.

    About Frank Jaconetti Manor

Frank Jaconetti Manor is a senior housing community for people aged 62 and older, with options for those needing some help or wishing to live on their own, and while it sits close to banks, shopping, medical services, and public transportation, seniors also have walking paths, park benches, an enclosed patio, and lighting for evening strolls right on the property. The Manor is run by Eskaton Administrative Center and gives priority to affordable rent, so many residents pay only 30% of their income thanks to rent subsidies from its Section 202 and project-based rental assistance setup. This place has studio and suite rooms, including accessible apartments for people with disabilities or mobility needs, and all rooms offer practical amenities for seniors. Staff help with daily needs like bathing and getting dressed, plus health care management, transportation, and meals made by chefs using real, quality ingredients so residents can count on good nutrition. For folks who want to stay active or social, there are activities and group events, and the grounds themselves are laid out for easy walks and some fresh air. Some units serve people with memory challenges, including Alzheimer's disease or dementia, in a safe and supported environment, but people who need only a touch of care, such as for independent living, or those needing more-like assisted living, nursing services, memory care, respite care, rehabilitation, or hospice-also have services here. There are live-in caregivers in some residential care homes, skilled nursing or home care offered by trained aides, and personalized support at different life stages. Staff and caregivers aim to be both helpful and friendly, and the community tries to provide a safe, pleasant space for every resident, with security and full staffing for those with complex health needs. Families can apply for housing via forms received by mail, and the Manor remains focused on offering affordable senior apartments and services for those seeking both independence and some extra support as needs change.
