    Lovely remodeled unit, friendly staff.

I toured and chose this community - my newly remodeled unit is lovely, the building is very clean, staff and neighbors are super friendly, and management stays on top of everything. Good value with a dining hall and nice activities center; the location and community size sealed the deal, and I'd recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment: The reviews for The Summit are strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize cleanliness, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly people, with repeated notes that the facility is nice and well-maintained. Units that have been newly remodeled are described as lovely, and the apartments are called nice, which reinforces an impression of attractive living spaces. Reviewers also highlight perceived value, frequently saying the community is a good value and that they would recommend The Summit to others.

Staff and management: Staff are described as "super friendly" and reviewers explicitly remark that management is "on top of everything," suggesting responsiveness and competent oversight. The repeated mention of friendly staff and residents implies a welcoming social environment and good day-to-day interactions. While no reviewers provided detailed accounts of clinical care or medical support, the strong positive commentary about staff and management indicates residents and visitors feel well attended to and confident in the community team.

Facilities and apartments: The physical plant receives consistently positive mentions. Descriptors such as "very nice and clean facility," "newly remodeled and lovely," and "nice apartments" indicate that both common areas and individual units are kept up and updated. The presence of a dedicated activities center is noted as a positive amenity, supporting resident engagement and social opportunities. Cleanliness is a recurring theme, which contributes to the overall impression of a well-run property.

Dining and activities: Reviewers specifically mention an on-site dining hall and an activities center, both framed positively. While no detailed reviews of the food quality or program schedules are given, the mere presence of these amenities and the favorable tone suggest that dining services and activities are available and meet residents' expectations. The activities center is listed among the features that make the community appealing.

Decision factors and visitor experience: Some reviewers framed their choice as influenced by location and community size, indicating these practical factors played a role in decision-making. One reviewer described the tour as "fine" or "okay," which is a neutral remark rather than a strong endorsement; it suggests the tour experience did not stand out positively or negatively for that visitor. These comments point to individual preferences (proximity, preferred community size) being important in evaluating whether The Summit is the right fit.

Patterns, limitations, and notable absences: The reviews are uniformly positive but relatively brief and high-level. There is little granular feedback on aspects such as medical/care services, specific dining quality, activity variety, pricing details, or long-term resident experiences. Because the sample focuses on amenities, atmosphere, staff friendliness, and management responsiveness, prospective residents should consider asking directly about medical care capabilities, meal examples, activity calendars, and any fees or contract details during a tour or follow-up conversation. Also, note that location and community size are explicitly mentioned as decision drivers, so those factors may be limiting for some prospective residents.

Conclusion: In sum, The Summit is portrayed as a clean, attractive, and well-managed community with friendly staff, remodeled apartments, on-site dining, and an activities center. Reviewers commonly recommend the facility and highlight value and a relaxing atmosphere. Prospective residents should be reassured by management responsiveness and the positive social environment but may want to verify details regarding care services, dining quality, and confirm the community’s size and location suit their personal needs since those were cited as important decision factors.

    About The Summit

The Summit is a senior living community for people 62 and older, located on nearly four acres with views of the Denver skyline and Rocky Mountains, and you'll find studio and one-bedroom apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows, lots of sunlight, and different layouts to fit what people might need, and these apartments have modern appliances like refrigerators and access to laundry facilities, heating, air conditioning, and utilities such as electricity, water, sewer, garbage, internet, and heat included in the rent, which does make things easier to manage. The place supports independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and some of these services, like memory care for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, are offered at other nearby Eaton communities like Aspen Place.

The Summit has a warm, pet-friendly policy, complete with a dog park, picnic spots, covered patios, and gardens where residents and their pets can enjoy the outdoor spaces together, and the inside has large windows, soft-close cabinets, and community lounges, plus areas to gather, like dining rooms and a chapel for spiritual support, and community rooms, and a fitness center. Residents can join in concerts, field trips, monthly lunches, trivia games, art classes, and spiritual activities right there on site or enjoy scheduled trips to grocery stores and local events. Regular housekeeping and laundry services are available, along with 24-hour maintenance, so people don't have to worry much about upkeep.

Care at The Summit covers a lot of areas with help from visiting health providers such as primary care doctors, dermatologists, podiatrists, and audiologists, and it's got on-site physical and occupational therapy, plus wellness programs and massage therapies. People can join a full calendar of life enrichment programs-these might be educational classes, social clubs, or even technology classes for those who want a little help learning new devices or computers. Dining here is restaurant-style in a light-filled dining room overlooking gardens, and meals are made by chefs who focus on balanced diets and good quality ingredients.

Safety is a priority, with controlled access security, off-street and lot parking, and staff focused on kindness and support. There are also spaces for socializing and making connections, as The Summit encourages a sense of community and friendship, holding group activities and events with their neighbor community, The Residences at Eaton. The Summit's staff strives for an atmosphere of encouragement and joy, and the service coordinators help residents connect with resources for a comfortable life. Overall, The Summit aims to make daily living more manageable and enjoyable for older adults while letting people stay as independent as possible, surrounded by nice views and a helpful, caring staff.
