Westbrook Towers stands as a high-rise senior living and care community offering affordable housing and wide-ranging services for elders, with options like independent living, assisted living, memory care, nursing homes, care homes, respite and rehab care, home care, hospice support, and a continuing care retirement setup, so that residents don't have to move as their needs change, which helps folks stay in familiar surroundings. The building provides compact studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, all with air conditioning, washers and dryers, kitchens or kitchenettes, sprinklers, and safety features for peace of mind, plus wheelchairs can move about freely thanks to handicap accommodations, while a 24-hour monitor keeps everyone safe and secure in the gated setting. Westbrook Towers comes with a community lounge, game and activities rooms, a salon/barbershop, laundry and dry cleaning services, plenty of guest parking, cable TV, free utilities, internet, and a dining room serving nutritious meals that residents often say are some of the best they've had, so there's no need to worry about daily cooking or cleaning. There's a strong sense of friendliness here, with staff known for being helpful and kind, plus the community organizes social events, road trips, arts and crafts, educational programs, and fitness and wellness activities to encourage mental, emotional, and physical well-being, including a swimming pool and fitness center. Residents can bring pets, rely on scheduled transportation-like access to the Murfreesboro Rover stop out front-and have family or guests easily visit thanks to open parking. Maintenance and housekeeping services keep the apartments clean and tidy, so elders can just focus on enjoying each day, while those who need personal care will find attentive assistants to help with daily needs, medication, or memory loss therapies. Housing at Westbrook Towers is based on income, using a Tax Credit subsidy that lets rent fall at 30% of a resident's adjusted gross income, plus deductions are available for medical bills and an elderly allowance, helping keep it within reach for many. Review scores around 8.8 from families and residents show people generally feel satisfied, safe, and welcome here, and with an overall modern but cozy feel-along with special features like education resources about elder care and water, as well as ways to connect with staff online or in-person-Westbrook Towers stands out as a practical and friendly place for seniors who need different levels of care or simply a place to enjoy retirement.
Friendly staff, pleasant; minor drawbacks
I visit my mother here. The staff are consistently nice, helpful and cheerful, residents seem happy, and the apartments are clean though small. It’s a large, older building that’s been recently renovated with very nice facilities, good meals, lots of engaging activities, events and road trips, plus a shuttle to doctors. Downsides: a noticeable odor in places, third‑floor access is a long walk, and outdoor access is gated and awkward — but overall it feels safe and pleasant.
