    Airy apartment, management and security

I moved into a very nice, airy 766 sq ft apartment with walk-in closets, front-load washer/dryer and a large bathroom - the kitchen is small and the halls long. The pool, hot tub, yoga and exercise rooms and public rooms are generally clean and usable when open, and residents run active groups (Bible study, crafts); it's close to Fred Meyer and other shopping. Major downsides: parking is awful and limited (long carport waitlist, lots of circling), several amenities have been broken or closed long periods, and management/maintenance turnover is high with some rude or unhelpful staff and slow repairs. I'm also concerned about building security (malfunctioning doors, homeless access), required lease signing before move-in and rent increases; I've even heard mentions of bed-bugs, so weigh pros and cons.
