    Clean updated building; outstanding therapy

I had a very positive stay - the building is clean, updated, and well-run, and the staff are friendly, caring, and attentive. Therapy was outstanding, nursing and social work were supportive and knowledgeable, and management was responsive; dining staff were pleasant. Overall a very good place for short-term rehab or longer stays - I would recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression is mixed, with a clear pattern of strong rehabilitative services and caring clinical staff alongside persistent operational inconsistencies. Therapy services—especially physical and occupational therapy—are frequently cited as a strength, with several reviewers noting measurable improvement in mobility and quick, effective short-term rehab stays. Social-work and case-management staff also receive positive remarks for support and coordination, and some families describe physicians and case managers as attentive and knowledgeable.

Nursing and aide staff draw both praise and criticism. Numerous accounts emphasize compassionate, hardworking nurses and aides who provide good bedside care when staff are available. At the same time, staffing shortages and uneven shift coverage are common themes; these staffing inconsistencies are associated with delays in basic assistance, missed laundry or bathing, and a need for family members to provide additional hands-on help. There are also recurrent concerns about the tone and responsiveness of some staff and about clinical follow-through in select cases, including potential medication-management gaps.

Dining and daily living services are variable. Some reviews describe pleasant servers and well-presented meals, while other accounts point to inconsistent food quality, overly salty or overcooked items, and occasions when dietary restrictions limited acceptable options. Families should confirm dietary-accommodation protocols during visits. Facility-level cleanliness is likewise mixed: many reviewers praise recent renovations and clean rooms, yet others note sanitation and odor concerns in certain common areas and periodic housekeeping lapses.

Management and safety patterns are a prominent source of divergence. Some families describe proactive, communicative management and clear advance notice of changes; others describe failed promises, inconsistent communication channels, and concerns about professionalism. Safety and supervision issues are raised in a subset of accounts, including instances that indicate gaps in monitoring. There are also serious individual claims, including allegations of theft of personal belongings, which warrant particular attention during any assessment.

For prospective residents and families: the facility appears to offer strong rehabilitative resources and can provide attentive nursing care under adequate staffing conditions. Because experiences vary by unit and shift, an in-person tour should include questions about current staffing ratios, medication management protocols, dietary accommodations, sanitation procedures, supervision/safety measures, and valuables/security. Confirm how the facility communicates with families and request references from recent discharges to better gauge consistency before making placement decisions.
