    Outstanding rehab and caring staff

I'm very pleased with my time here - the nurses, CNAs and admin were caring and treated us like family, the rehab/PT team was outstanding and got me walking again, and the facility is clean and welcoming. Residents are happy, staff are friendly and supportive, and I gladly recommend this place.

    Summary of reviews

The review set presents a mixed picture of care at the facility. Strengths are concentrated in the rehabilitation and nursing teams: the physical-therapy program is repeatedly praised for enabling improved mobility and measurable functional gains. Individual CNAs and nurses receive strong, specific commendations for compassionate, attentive care; several accounts describe staff who create supportive interactions and foster good rapport with residents. Some reviewers also cite clean, remodeled areas and an engaged workplace culture that can support positive resident experiences.

At the same time, persistent operational concerns emerge across reviews. Medication-administration controls and clinical oversight are recurring issues โ€” examples include medication errors or changes to medication regimens, missed or withheld medications, and questions about physician availability. Relatedly, reviewers describe variable staff responsiveness to clinical needs and post-fall care, indicating inconsistent adherence to timely-assistance protocols. Infection-control and sanitation processes are also areas of concern, with multiple mentions of cleanliness issues and odor concerns in certain units.

Family communication and administrative responsiveness appear uneven. Several reviewers describe difficulty reaching staff, full voicemail boxes, and limited or delayed updates about resident status or unit moves. There are also allegations of personal-property mishandling and unresolved financial/billing discrepancies, which raise questions about property management and billing processes. Management transparency and accountability are highlighted as an area needing improvement, with specific complaints about how complaints or financial claims were handled.

Dining and nutrition receive mixed feedback: some residents and families find meals tasty and healthy, while others cite cold meals, inappropriate snack choices for clinical needs, or inconsistent meal quality. The physical environment shows both positives and negatives โ€” parts of the facility have been remodeled and are tidy, yet reviews also mention maintenance and accessibility lapses such as obstructed pathways and limited ramp access in some areas.

Notable patterns: strong rehabilitative care and several exemplary frontline caregivers coexist with systemic operational weaknesses. Where staff continuity, leadership on a unit, and therapy resources are present, outcomes and satisfaction are higher; where staffing stability, clinical oversight, and administrative follow-through are lacking, families report safety, sanitation, and communication concerns. Prospective residents and families should weigh the facilityโ€™s robust therapy capability and praised caregivers against the documented variability in medication management, cleanliness, communication, and administrative reliability. Visiting in person, asking for specific care and communication protocols, and confirming property/billing safeguards are advisable steps before admission.
