I feel like family here - the staff are compassionate, genuine, and attentive, always going above and beyond. The facility is clean, meals are freshly cooked daily by a great cook, and the owners are caring. They provide transport and even helped me with cataract surgery, improving my vision. Warm, happy atmosphere - I would recommend it.

Summary of reviews
The reviews for Love & Care Home are polarized, with distinct positive and negative experiences described. On the positive side, reviewers commonly describe a warm, family-like atmosphere: staff are characterized as caring, attentive, and friendly, and several accounts highlight individualized assistance such as transportation to appointments and help coordinating a cataract surgery that improved a resident's vision. The owner is frequently noted as hands-on and willing to go above and beyond for residents. Dining is also a consistent strength for many reviewers, with daily home-cooked meals and praise for the on-site cook.
Care quality appears mixed. Many families highlight consistent, compassionate caregiving and close interpersonal relationships between staff and residents. However, other reviewers describe strong dissatisfaction tied to staff conduct and communication, including concerns about impartiality and honesty. These contrasting accounts suggest variability in how staff interact with different residents or families and indicate that individual experiences may differ significantly depending on unit, shift, or staff on duty.
The dining and social environment receive generally positive mentions: freshly prepared meals, an engaged cook, and a warm, happy atmosphere are recurring themes. Formal activity programming is not extensively documented in the summaries provided; social warmth and family-style interactions are the primary social indicators reviewers mention rather than a structured activities schedule.
Facility and operational concerns are a notable counterpoint to the positive feedback. Several reviewers describe sanitation and pest-control concerns and odor issues in some areas, which point to inconsistencies in housekeeping and facility maintenance. At least one reviewer raised hand-hygiene and related infection-control concerns tied to management practices. Together these items suggest uneven execution of environmental and infection-prevention protocols across the facility.
Management impressions are mixed: the owner is praised for advocacy and direct involvement, yet there are also assertions that management-level practices or responsiveness are lacking in some cases. A pattern emerges of strong personal, hands-on support for some residents alongside operational gaps that create very different experiences for others. Prospective residents and families should consider an in-person tour and ask specific questions about housekeeping schedules, pest-control contracts, hand-hygiene and infection-control protocols, staffing consistency, and how complaints are handled. Checking recent inspection records and speaking with current families may help clarify whether the facility’s strengths or its operational concerns are more likely to reflect an individual’s likely experience.
