    Life-saving, dignified care and rehabilitation

My loved one received life-saving, professional care and the team treated us with dignity and respect. Nurses, rehab therapists (OT/PT/speech), social services and discharge coordinator Loza Gedyon were attentive, kind and quick to respond-helpful with the transition home. The facility is clean, veteran-friendly and welcoming; I'm grateful and would recommend their compassionate staff.

    Summary of reviews

Reviews indicate a facility with clear strengths in rehabilitative care, family communication, and compassionate hands‑on staffing, alongside recurring operational weaknesses. Many families highlighted successful therapy outcomes (occupational, physical, and speech therapy), effective discharge coordination, and visible improvements in mobility and daily function after short stays. Discharge staff and social‑services coordinators received consistent praise for planning transitions home and maintaining communication with families. The facility is also noted for being welcoming at admission, offering hospice services, and being accommodating to veterans.

At the same time, reviewers describe variability in clinical oversight and day‑to‑day consistency. Concerns include limited or infrequent physician rounds, medication and medical‑concern follow‑up that families perceived as inadequate, and delays tied to shift changes or nursing coverage gaps. A small number of serious individual allegations were raised about property handling and severe care failures; these descriptions translate into broader operational themes of laundry/property management issues and potential incontinence‑care and sanitation concerns that prospective families should review directly with leadership.

Dining and housekeeping show mixed performance. Several accounts praise clean common areas and an overall well‑maintained environment, while others describe cold or undercooked meals, inconsistent adherence to prescribed diets, and a desire for improved culinary quality. Room maintenance and medical‑equipment cleanliness were flagged in a subset of reviews, and outdoor/patio areas were noted as having enforcement gaps around smoking and outdoor litter. Activity programming (bingo and social events) and individualized engagement were viewed positively and support resident well‑being.

Management and communication receive both commendation and criticism, indicating variability by unit, shift, or time period. Positive comments cite warm, helpful administration and efficient transition support; negative comments focus on perceived lack of transparency, difficulty resolving complaints, and at times an uncaring tone from specific staff members or leaders. Overall, experiences appear inconsistent: the facility delivers strong rehabilitative outcomes and family communication for many, while operational issues—particularly around physician coverage, meal consistency, property management, cleanliness in certain areas, and complaint handling—warrant direct inquiry by prospective residents and families. Recommended steps for families: confirm physician and nursing coverage patterns, review dietary and laundry policies, ask about sanitation and smoking‑area enforcement, and request recent references or a tour that includes observation of mealtime and shift changes.
