    Room fine, everything else unsafe

The room and board were fine, but my experience otherwise was poor: pickups were repeatedly delayed, often in an unmarked car that never arrived at the designated spot and staff communication/coordination was a mess - sometimes forcing pickups in heavy traffic. I also witnessed violent behavior and apparent drug activity that management seemed to tolerate, ownership discouraged complaints, and there's a harsh kick-out policy - I can't recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews is mixed but leans strongly negative. A small but clear positive thread is that at least one reviewer was satisfied with room and board and reported no complaints about basic accommodations. Beyond that isolated positive comment, the predominant themes are operational failures, serious safety concerns, and allegations of corrupt or negligent management.

Care quality and staff issues: reviewers repeatedly flagged problems with staff coordination and communication. These reports suggest that operational processes — such as scheduling, resident pickup, and staff responsiveness — are inconsistent. Poor coordination can directly affect resident well-being and punctual access to services, and reviewers described this as an ongoing problem rather than an isolated incident. While there is at least one comment indicating satisfaction with living accommodations, the staffing and coordination complaints paint a picture of unreliable frontline service in areas that matter for daily resident care and logistics.

Transportation and logistics: transportation emerges as a distinct and specific pain point. Multiple reviewers describe delayed pickups, being left at the wrong location or not being picked up at the designated spot, pickups that occur in heavy traffic or otherwise unsafe locations, and use of an unmarked vehicle. These are operational and safety issues that affect residents’ ability to attend appointments, visit family, and travel safely. The combination of delays, poor communication about where and when pickups occur, and unmarked vehicles raises both inconvenience and safety concerns for residents and families.

Management, safety, and policy concerns: the most serious themes are allegations about management and ownership. Reviews use terms such as mismanagement, crooked management, and corrupt ownership, and go further to allege that drug dealing is tolerated or encouraged and that violent behavior occurs on the premises. There are also complaints about a strict or aggressive 'kicked out' policy. These allegations, if accurate, point to systemic governance and safety failures that could put residents at risk. Even as allegations, they are significant because they reflect perception of institutional neglect or misconduct and warrant urgent attention from families, advocates, and possibly regulators.

Facilities, dining, and activities: aside from the single positive note about room and board, there is little information in the reviews about dining quality, recreational activities, or therapeutic programming. The absence of commentary on these areas means no clear positive or negative pattern can be drawn from the provided reviews; however, the lack of praise combined with strong negative reports about safety and management suggests that any strengths in accommodations may be overshadowed by operational and governance issues.

Patterns and implications: taken together, the reviews indicate a facility where basic accommodations may be acceptable for some residents, but where operational reliability, staff communication, transportation logistics, and serious safety and management concerns dominate the narrative. The most urgent themes are transportation unreliability and alleged misconduct by management, including tolerance of illegal activity and on-site violence. These are issues that materially affect resident safety and quality of life.

Recommendations based on the review patterns: prospective residents and families should pursue thorough due diligence before choosing this facility — ask for written policies on transportation, pickup procedures, incident reporting, and eviction/relocation policies. Request recent incident logs, staff training records, and references from current families. If allegations of drug activity or violence are believed to be substantiated, consider notifying local authorities or adult protective services and consult local long-term care regulators. Families with residents currently at the facility should monitor pickup arrangements closely, confirm pickup times/locations in writing, and document any safety incidents or management responses so they can escalate appropriately.

If someone just needs a break for a bit, there's respite care for short stays. Residents can expect things like help with personal care, medication management, private rooms, and common areas so there's space to gather. If a special day comes, there are floral options for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, or even just to brighten up a room, and arrangements for ceremonies and receptions.
