    Kind staff, homey, affordable, recommended

I live at this small, quiet group home and the long‑tenured staff are kind, attentive, and very good with feeding, mobility, and doctor appointments. The facility is clean and home‑like with personalized activities, delicious home‑cooked meals, a pleasant neighborhood and a lovely porch — but amenities are limited, private rooms aren’t available, and the furniture/decor could use updating. It’s affordable, offers adequate one‑on‑one attention, and I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall impression: The reviews paint Angel's Haven II as a small, home-like group residence that delivers dependable, personalized care. Most comments emphasize the compassion and longevity of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the comfortable, neighborhood setting. The overall sentiment is positive with multiple recommendations; at the same time reviewers identify a handful of consistent limitations related to amenities, rooming, and decor that temper the otherwise favorable view.

Care quality and staff: Care quality is a clear strength in the reviews. Multiple summaries highlight one-on-one attention, help with feeding and mobility, and accompaniment to doctor's appointments, suggesting staff provide hands-on, personalized support. The staff are repeatedly described as kind and long-tenured, and reviewers explicitly state residents are well cared for. Those points indicate continuity of caregivers and an emphasis on individualized attention rather than high-volume institutional care.

Facilities and environment: Angel's Haven II is described as clean and small, with a home-like feel and a pleasant neighborhood location. The porch and outdoor seating are specifically mentioned as nice features. That small, quiet character is a positive for people seeking a calm environment, but it also connects to some limitations: reviewers note there are not many amenities and shared rooms are the norm (private rooms not available). Furniture and decorations were called out as unattractive by several summaries. Taken together, the physical environment appears well-maintained in terms of cleanliness and outdoor space, but somewhat basic and modest in furnishings and interior decor.

Dining and activities: Dining receives strong, specific praise—reviews describe the meals as delicious and home-cooked. Activities are characterized as personalized and home-like, with staff providing individualized engagement. This suggests residents receive tailored activities rather than large-program offerings. However, given the noted lack of amenities and the comment that residents are not very energetic, prospective residents should not expect extensive recreational facilities or high-energy group programming.

Management, value, and suitability: Reviewers describe Angel's Haven II as affordable and offering good value, and several explicitly recommend it. The long tenure of staff and the individualized care model support that perception of value. The facility seems particularly well suited to those who want a small, quiet, home-style setting with close caregiver relationships and dependable assistance. Conversely, it may be less suitable for people seeking private rooms, upscale furnishings or decorations, many on-site amenities, or a socially energetic resident population.

Notable patterns and concerns: Recurring themes are the strong, caring staff and the small, clean, home-like atmosphere versus the limited physical amenities and shared-room arrangements. Furniture and decor complaints are consistent enough to suggest aesthetic updates would improve impressions. The characterization of the facility as "adequate" in at least one summary underscores that while care and value are strengths, the overall offering is modest rather than luxurious. In short, Angel's Haven II appears to excel at personalized, compassionate care in a quiet, affordable setting but has tangible limitations in private accommodations, amenities, and interior finishes that prospective residents and families should weigh against their priorities.
