    Compassionate, clean, safe dementia care

I toured Forever Young and chose it for my husband. William and his team are compassionate, professional, and treat residents like family; staff provide personalized, dementia-focused care and proactive communication with regular photo updates. The home is bright, immaculately clean and safe (door alarms), with home-cooked, diet-friendly meals, engaging activities and unique touches like a backyard gazebo, country store and aviary. His mood and health improved and we have real peace of mind-I recommend touring to see if it's the right fit.

    Summary of reviews

Overall sentiment: The reviews present a strongly positive, consistently enthusiastic picture of Forever Young Memory Care. Families repeatedly highlight the facility as a specialized, dementia-focused residential option where design, staffing, programming, and leadership are all deliberately tailored to the needs of people with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The cumulative tone is one of deep gratitude: reviewers describe measurable improvements in residents’ moods, health, engagement, and overall quality of life, and many explicitly call the home "life-changing" or a "peace of mind" solution.

Care quality and staff: The most emphasized strength across reviews is the caregiving team and owner leadership. Reviewers repeatedly use words like compassionate, professional, loving, and dedicated to describe staff. Care is described as highly personalized and dementia-sensitive, with caregivers providing one-on-one attention and "extra TLC." Families report that staff go above and beyond routine duties, handle medical and emotional needs sensitively, and support final days with dignity. The owner/administrator (named William Young in multiple reviews) is cited as knowledgeable, accessible, and deeply involved — offering placement guidance, participating in celebrations, and maintaining visibility with families. Clinical supports such as weekly doctor visits and on-site podiatry are mentioned, reinforcing that the home balances homelike care with medical oversight.

Facilities and safety: Reviewers consistently praise the physical environment. The home is described as immaculately clean, aesthetically pleasing, bright, and remodeled for accessibility. Specific layout and safety features mentioned include six private bedrooms, large bathrooms with roll-in showers, central common living spaces with large windows, and door alarm/security upgrades designed for dementia care. The small-scale, residential layout is credited with creating a family-like atmosphere and close staff-resident relationships. At the same time, that small size is linked to a limited number of openings and a waitlist (noted in several reviews).

Amenities, activities, and engagement: A distinctive theme is the intentional, creative programming and amenities that stimulate memory and social interaction. Many reviews single out the landscaped, park-like backyard with raised garden boxes, gazebo, walking path, and a staged "general store" and "ice cream parlor" used for programming and reminiscence therapy. Indoor features such as a bird aviary, games, music, crafts, massage, and special events (e.g., Memorial Day celebration) are frequently mentioned. Reviewers credit these elements with improving appetite, mood, and participation, and they praise staff for facilitating daily photos/videos and regular updates that show residents engaging in activities.

Dining and personalization: Dining receives positive attention: reviewers describe delicious, home-cooked meals, a willing and accommodating chef, and tailored diets for residents with special needs. Personalization is a recurring point — families report that rooms are decorated to residents’ tastes, pets are welcomed, and individual celebrations and meaningful activities are prioritized. The combination of homelike meals and individualized comforts contributes to families’ sense that residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Communication, family involvement, and transition support: Reviewers value proactive communication channels such as group text updates, daily photos/videos, and regular check-ins from management. Many comments note stress-free move planning, compassionate placement support, and warm orientation for families. Visitors are described as being treated like family, and the facility’s open visitation policy and family-oriented practices are highlighted as important for ongoing involvement and reassurance.

Reputation and recommendations: Aggregated impressions position Forever Young as a top-choice, highly recommended memory care provider in the region. Multiple reviewers call it one of the best residential memory care homes in Orange County, and many say they would strongly recommend it to other families. The depth and consistency of praise for staff, owner leadership, environment, and activities underpin a strong community reputation and frequent referral by healthcare professionals.

Notable limitations and patterns of concern: While overwhelmingly positive, reviews repeatedly note two practical constraints: cost and capacity. Several reviewers explicitly mention a higher cost compared with other options (often qualified as "great value" for the level of service), and multiple comments reference a waitlist or limited availability due to the small, six-room residential model. Those seeking a larger institutional setting, immediate admission, or lower-cost alternatives might find these constraints relevant. Another implicit trade-off is that the small-home model emphasizes personalized, homelike care rather than the scale and range of services available at larger clinical institutions — although reviewers did report regular medical visits and some onsite clinical supports.

Bottom line: Reviews depict Forever Young Memory Care as an intentionally designed, expertly run small residential memory care home that excels in personalized dementia care, compassionate staff, innovative engagement programming, and a pristine, homelike environment. The strengths most frequently cited are the owner-led culture, attentive and well-trained caregivers, meaningful activities (gardening, general store, ice cream parlor, aviary), strong family communication, and safety features tailored to dementia. The primary practical drawbacks are higher cost and limited openings inherent to its boutique model. For families prioritizing specialized dementia-sensitive care, individualized attention, and quality-of-life programming in a residential setting, reviewers consistently recommend Forever Young as a top option.
