    Caring staff, clean home, recommended

My mom has lived here for years and I'm very pleased with the consistently caring, friendly staff - special thanks to CNA Annette Tremble and Ashley for going above and beyond. Residents are happy, entertained and healthy in a clean, homey environment; I would recommend this facility for high-quality, dependable care.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews indicate a facility with clear strengths in direct caregiving and resident life but also important operational weaknesses that prospective families should evaluate. Many reviewers praised the frontline staff as caring and attentive, and several long-term families described consistent care over years. Positive comments emphasize a clean, home-like atmosphere with daily maintenance, engaging activities that keep residents entertained and healthy, and an overall sense of resident satisfaction. The facility's long history (open since the mid-1990s) and specific staff recognitions (for example, an outstanding CNA highlighted by name) are cited as reassuring elements.

At the same time, reviews show notable variability in experience. While some families call it the best facility and give high ratings, others describe significant problems with clinical responsiveness and staff conduct. These are best understood as patterns rather than a single type of incident: concerns cluster around inconsistent care quality between shifts or residents, delays or lapses in responsiveness, and instances where family communication about a resident's health and events was inadequate. Medication-management and related safety concerns appear as a recurring operational issue and are an area to probe during a visit.

Operationally, reviewers point to staff turnover and management responsiveness as contributing factors. High turnover can undermine continuity of care even where individual caregivers are praised. Several comments recommend attention to supervisory practices and accountability; families reported difficulties getting timely explanations or updates from management. The facility's interior was repeatedly described as clean but datedโ€”cleanliness and a homey atmosphere are strengths, yet some areas may benefit from refurbishment.

There is little consistent commentary about dining quality in these summaries; when cost is mentioned, several reviewers characterized the service as expensive while still describing the overall care as good. Activities and social programming receive positive remarksโ€”residents are described as entertained and content. Overall, the pattern is polarized: strong, empathetic direct-care relationships and effective day-to-day resident engagement coexist with systemic issues in communication, medication safety, staffing stability, and administrative responsiveness. Prospective families should consider in-person visits, ask for details about staffing levels and turnover, request the facility's policies on medication administration and incident communication, and review recent inspection records to clarify how the facility addresses the operational gaps noted here.
