    Compassionate attentive clean senior care

I'm very pleased with the care here - staff are friendly, helpful and respectful, and nurses, CNAs and therapists gave excellent, attentive rehab care that kept my mom comfortable and safe. The facility is clean and odor-free, meals and activities are enjoyable, and staff treat residents like family with clear, responsive communication. I'd recommend this center for compassionate, high-quality senior care.

    Summary of reviews

Reviewer feedback for Celebrate of Moline is polarized: a substantial number of families and residents describe compassionate, attentive care and effective rehabilitation, while a separate set of accounts raises operational and clinical concerns. The facilityโ€™s strengths cluster around direct caregiving, therapy, dining, and activities. Many reviews highlight nurses and CNAs who preserve dignity, provide timely medication administration, and create a family-oriented atmosphere. Physical and occupational therapy staff receive frequent praise for skill and progress toward discharge goals. The activities program โ€” arts and crafts, games, movie nights, restaurant outings, seasonal celebrations and individualized gestures โ€” is a consistently noted positive. Admissions, social work, and hospice coordination also receive favorable mention for smooth transitions and helpful communication.

Dining and communal life are commonly described as assets: reviewers mention varied, tasty menus with customizable options, pleasant presentation, and event-driven dining experiences. Likewise, several reviewers describe common areas as clean and attractively decorated. These elements, combined with visible teamwork among staff and consistent shift coverage in many accounts, create a strong rehabilitation-and-respite profile for prospective residents.

Counterbalancing the positive themes are recurring concerns about operational consistency. Staffing levels and responsiveness emerge as the most frequent operational weaknesses โ€” understaffing, long waits for assistance, unanswered call lights, and limited shower assistance are described in multiple accounts. These staffing gaps are linked in some reviews to delayed or inadequate attention during meals and medication times. Sanitation and odor issues are described as inconsistent across units, and there are multiple mentions of laundry and personal-property mishandling, including lost clothing and belongings, which points to weaknesses in property-management processes.

Clinical oversight is praised in many cases but criticized in others. While medication administration and nursing attention are often commended, several reviewers report problems with wound management, infection-control follow-up, and glucose monitoring โ€” operational gaps that families should explicitly inquire about. A few reviews reference abrupt discharges or contentious transfer decisions and regulatory notices; those are individual serious concerns and, combined with inconsistent leadership reports, suggest variability in management practices and accountability.

Noise, alarm management, and occasional schedule disruptions (late dinners, beeping alarms, loud televisions) are also noted as environmental stressors in some rooms or units. Staff professionalism is generally described as warm and helpful by many reviewers, yet some accounts document distracted behavior, poor communication tone, or dismissive interactions; these mixed impressions underscore variability in staff conduct across shifts.

Given the pattern of strongly positive rehab and social programming alongside recurring operational and clinical inconsistencies, families touring Celebrate of Moline should observe unit-level cleanliness, ask about current staffing ratios and float coverage, review wound- and glucose-management protocols, confirm laundry/property procedures, and inquire about recent regulatory actions and leadership changes. Direct observation of mealtime service and a conversation with the therapy team and social work representative will help clarify whether the facilityโ€™s strengths align with an individual residentโ€™s needs.

    About Celebrate of Moline

Celebrate of Moline serves seniors with a wide range of care, because there's something for almost everyone including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and even nursing home services, so folks with different needs can find a place here, and you'll see they offer both short-term and long-term care including skilled nursing and rehabilitation for things like orthopedic, cardiac, or stroke recovery, and there's physical, occupational, and speech therapy for those coming straight from the hospital or those needing more time to get back on their feet. The staff at Celebrate of Moline are there all hours, with nurses available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, so medical needs like wound care, tracheotomy, IV therapy, dialysis, respiratory care, medication management, and even pain management get handled right on site, which is good peace of mind if someone needs extra looking after. For those needing help with daily activities, staff help with dressing, bathing, toileting, transfers, medication support, and personal care tasks, and there are laundry and housekeeping services, so things don't pile up. Safety is a focus with a 24-hour call system and emergency alert, and the facility can manage non-ambulatory care, dementia care, and even complicated health cases since they've got specialized programs for Alzheimer's and rehabilitation. The rooms come set up for convenience and safety, with options for furnished rooms, private bathrooms, cable TV, WiFi, air conditioning, kitchenettes, washers and dryers, and safety or handicap features like sprinkler systems, so families find comfort in knowing their loved ones have a home-like setting. There's a real community feeling, because you'll find game rooms, arts and crafts, movie nights, music programs, fitness center, walking paths, outdoor gardens, dining areas, and even a salon and barber shop, which help keep people active and connected, with lots of activities planned by both staff and residents themselves. Celebrate of Moline provides meals made by a professional chef with attention to allergy-sensitive and diabetic needs, and there's all-day dining in a community dining room, so meals can fit different schedules. Transportation is available for outings and appointments, and there's even guest parking for visitors. It's a for-profit LLC, part of a larger group called Celebrate Senior Living of Moline, and it's recognized for following industry standards and providing quality care, with options for long-term care insurance, plus Medicare and Medicaid accepted, which can make things easier for families worried about coverage. There's a focus on supporting both the resident and their family, with resident and family councils, move-in help, waiting lists, and individual care plans. The staff offer help in English, and maybe some other languages, and can help set up initial consultations to figure out which care works best, and since Celebrate of Moline is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, that means folks can get extra care as their needs change, whether that's home care, rehab, hospice, or more advanced nursing. The place stays updated and clean, with recent improvements and a dedicated team, and offers a warm setting for daily life, from personal support to group activities, keeping residents safe and as independent as possible.
