    Sunlit accessible community, caring staff

I'm very pleased with my experience - the facility is gorgeous and brand-new, clean and wheelchair-accessible with sunny gardens and comfortable self-furnished rooms. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive (Stephanie is amazing), leadership is knowledgeable, and the assisted living and memory-support programs offer engaging activities that have noticeably improved mood and social connection. Residents feel part of a family here; I would definitely recommend this community.

    Summary of reviews

Quartet - A Senior Living Village presents a largely modern, well-designed environment with many reviewers praising its physical plant: a brand-new, attractively appointed building, accessible floorplan, wide hallways, wheelchair- and scooter-friendly dining areas, and pleasant outdoor garden spaces. The option to self-furnish rooms and the availability of memory-support and assisted-living services are features that respondents found valuable. Several comments emphasize a supportive leadership and team atmosphere in which residents feel welcomed and treated as part of a community.

Care quality impressions are mixed. Many reviewers describe attentive, personalized caregiving and quick responses to call buttons, while others identify systemic problems consistent with understaffing and burnout. These staffing pressures are linked to delays in routine care, inconsistent follow-through on small tasks, and variability in how staff communicate with residents and families. Concerns about medication handling and documentation were raised; in some instances reviewers used strong language about recordkeeping and medication errors, so prospective families should verify current medication-management protocols and oversight when evaluating the community.

Staff and management present a mixed picture. Numerous reviewers praise friendly, welcoming direct-care staff and note instances of excellent leadership and a positive team culture. At the same time, there are reports of poor management responsiveness, contradictory openness about concerns, and difficulty reaching nursing staff from outside the facility. Financial transparency was also a recurring theme: reviewers mentioned price increases and extra charges for services, so clarity about fees and ancillary costs is advisable before moving in.

Dining and activities receive generally positive marks for food quality and available dietary options (including lower-salt selections), but there are occasional complaints about meal-plan coordination and isolated poor meals. Activity programming appears limited for some residents; prospective families should review the activity calendar and observe participation levels to ensure the offering meets their expectations.

Operational and logistical issues noted by reviewers include limited on-site parking and instances of schedule delays. These are practical considerations for visitors and families. Overall, the community is consistently described as attractive and physically accessible, with many positive interpersonal experiences, but it also shows patterns of operational strain—particularly around staffing, clinical documentation, communication, and fee transparency. Prospective residents and families would be well served to tour during mealtimes and activities, ask for up-to-date staffing and clinical oversight information, review medication and documentation controls, and obtain a clear written description of fees and policies before making a placement decision.

About Quartet - A Senior Living Village

Quartet - A Senior Living Village sits as a three-story community designed for seniors who want different levels of support, and the place is new, built with careful thought to comfort and beauty, with things like fire- and sound-resistant construction, smoke detectors in every room, and heating and cooling you can set yourself so folks can feel safe and settled. The building has independent living, tailored living, assisted living, and memory care all under one roof, which means people can find the help they need, from basic housekeeping to daily care and memory support, without having to leave the place they call home. The community holds state licenses S0465 and S0466, showing it follows the rules.

Apartments come in many shapes and sizes-there are studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans named The Ashton, The Laurel, The Wesley, The Cascade, The Rowan, The Durango, The Sandborn, The Derby, The Cambridge, The Ellsworth, The Shelby, The Randall, The Andover, The Gilbert, and The Beacon (for memory care, at 328 square feet). They all have private bathrooms with walk-in showers, and the apartments come unfurnished, so folks bring their own furniture and decorations if they want. Some units have full kitchens with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, while others have kitchenettes and luxury vinyl plank flooring, and cable TV as well as Wi-Fi is available in both units and common areas. Pets are allowed, with extra pet amenities, and there are guest rooms for overnight visitors and parking for cars and guests as well.

Quartet has a wide range of things to do every week, with arts and crafts, exercise classes, music, movies, gardening, walking clubs, games like bingo and cards, literary and educational activities, outings in the community, and presentations. There's a structured routine in memory care for folks with Alzheimer's or dementia-here they get help through the Navigate Memory Care program and AwakeningsTM, both offering specialized therapy, 24/7 support, and extra safety features to prevent wandering and confusion, always personalizing the approach to each resident. Housekeeping, laundry, linen service, and home maintenance are handled as part of the package, and folks can pick private housekeeping if they want extra help.

Meals are served three times a day in the Fresco Dining Room with chef-prepared options, or you can have food delivered to your own place if you don't want to eat with the whole group, plus room for guests if you have family stopping by. There are also social spots like the Sonata Lounge, a coffee shop, party rooms, the Aria Salon for haircuts and barber services, and lounges for gatherings; the therapy courtyard The Quad has walking paths and garden patios for relaxing or a walk with a neighbor. The building allows overnight guest stays, and has short-term respite housing for a few days at a time that works the same as assisted living.

There's staff to help with daily things like bathing, dressing, taking medicine, and there's always someone on call-with part-time nurses, support for folks who need reminders for medicine, regular safety checks, pharmacy on-site, and health services available. Quartet offers transportation for shopping, outings, and appointments when families can't drive their loved ones themselves. Emergency help is available round-the-clock. Fire-resistant features and an emergency response system add to the sense of security.

Pets are welcome, with support for animals in the building. Fees start with a $2,000 entry fee, and a second person in an apartment brings costs in the $670-$1,550 range. The place is managed by Ecumen, serving a wide set of needs for older adults with helpful programs and community engagement opportunities, such as Quartet Connect, special events, and feedback programs encouraging families and residents to share input.

Quartet - A Senior Living Village stands as a pet-friendly, accessible, and flexible option for seniors wanting independence with support close at hand, whether folks need just a little help around the house or full memory care, all in a setting that tries to feel like home while offering plenty to do, friendships to make, and a sense of community life. Tours are available, and the Be Our Guest program allows people to stay a few days to see if the community fits their needs.
